You end up working more hours than usual to meet the deadline, you forsake your health workout, your eating habits become abnormal, you basically sabotage yourself into a stress related environment in which there are no good outcomes.

Your hair is the first casualty of this lifestyle and that should be your warning signal.

Here are some techniques that you can implement within your lifestyle in order to cope with hair loss due to stress in your life.

Dissociate yourself with the work involved in meeting deadlines. Sure it's easier said than done in meeting that deadline that's due at the end of the week. You can't get away from the work, so don't. You know what needs to be done then go ahead and do it. So much time is wasted complaining about the amount of work that you have to do, so instead just do the work and get it over with.

Exercise. You really need to warm your body up and let it know that you care about it. Even simple stretching exercises on a regular basis will keep you toned and flexible for the demands that life has to give.

Relaxation and meditation go hand in hand. Find yourself at least 5 minutes a day to daydream pursuant to meditation to get away from the daily grinds that you must meet with. You don't even have to daydream but just think of nothing in order to settle your mind down and to enjoy the moment. This little bit of time to yourself can go a long ways in coping with stress in your life.

Sleep. Get enough sleep. Most of us don't get enough sleep. No wonder we feel like we're dragging through the morning hours. We go to bed too late and get up too early. Give your body a break and get the rest it wants.

Diet. Start small in this category. Having a good nutritious breakfast can go a long ways in being strong within yourself throughout the day.

Implementing just some of these techniques that have been mentioned will allow you to relieve some of the stress in your life and if you're experiencing hair loss due to stress this may help.

Take comfort that hair loss is usually not permanent in these cases and hair tends to grow back after stress is reduced. When you eliminate stress, the hormonal balance in your body is restored and production of particular nutrients is back at normal levels.
