[A461]Aloe Vera Irritable Bowel Syndrome
by Alexander West, Ale
The general health benefits of Aloe Vera can classified as:

1.aiding liver function,
2.reducing the effect of arthritis,
3.reducing blood pressure,
4.improves bone and skin healing,
5.calms the digestive tract thereby helping irritable bowel,
6.helps the immune system.

Although this list may seem wide and diverse, it is because aloe vera has so many benefits that it can help the body stay healthier in a number of ways.

Aloe vera can help the stomach breakdown proteins and reduce the likelihood of undigested food molecules causing a problem in the gut. The range of fatty acids produced by Aloe vera includes linoleic and caprylic. Linoleic is also a possible remedy for irritable bowel and caprylic is sometimes used for candida albicans. These fatty acids may not only lower cholesterol but are also helpful due to their anti inflammatory properties.

How does aloe vera help

1.food enters the bowel in a more acceptable state as it is broken down further resulting in less gas production which you will need to get rid of. Gas puts pressure on the abdominal wall making it stretch. It is the stretching effect that causes pain.
2.Prevents overgrowth of the bad bacteria and fungus, such as candida albicans.
3.soothes and heals an inflamed bowel. It could be that your irritable bowel is due to a sensitive bowel.

Food intolerance and aloe vera

1.reduces the likelihood of large proteins entering the bloodstream.
2.vitamins and minerals are more readily absorbed.
3.Reduces inflammation caused by food intolerance [ important distinction we are talking about food intolerance here not food allergies].

You will not be surprised to learn that often medical problems go together. -many people find that when they cleansed their bowel, changed their diet to a more healthier one, their irritable bowel problems slowly begin to ease. You are is what you eat, never was a truer statement said. If you can [slowly] change your diet for the better then your body will reward you. You will look healthier and feel better. You will look younger for your age and maybe you'll even be able to do activities such as sports well into your later life. Good diets need to have their place in modern living, otherwise we will not be able to keep up with the modern world as well as we would like. Furthermore, foods low in saturated fat do not trigger an irritable bowel to the same degree as saturated fats. Natural products like aloe vera also have their part to play.
