[H1690]How To Track Your Cell Phone
by Mike Edmonds, Mik
How often have you received prank call on your cell phone? Well, many would answer that they have suffered a plethora of it. Sometimes, some have scared them with the call, at other times they have received such language and all that, that the receiver must be thinking of giving a good punching. But the problem with the prank calls is that the receiver generally has no idea about the caller.

Well, with the advent of modern technology, there is hardly any sphere where technology has not made its entrance. The result in some cases may have proved bad, but in most of the cases, it has been really rewarding and cell phone tracking is certainly one bright example of that.

The basic purpose of the phone number tracker is to track down the information of the suspicious callers. Not only it helps you to get information about the caller who did some pranks calling you up, it will also satisfies you with information about the suspicious person who has made a call on your spouse's cell phone.

However, before launching in to the phone number tracking, one must have some information about certain details. First of all, one should have a fair idea about the North American Numbering Plan. According to it, each ten digit cell phone number follows a specific pattern.

In it, the first three digits show the area code. The three digits after that reveal the code of the central office, while the last four digits are the line number. The codes are essential in finding out the identity of the mischievous caller.

The area code of the cell phone number too has some peculiar features. The first digit of the code can be any digit from 2 to 9. The other two numbers, on the other hand can range from 0 to 9. Actually, the area codes are patterned in geographically. This actually helps the phone number tracker as it allows locating the person at a certain place.

However, to conduct the reverse phone lookup successfully, the person must know which code represent what area. Presently there are hundreds of area codes and remembering all of them is not a good idea. The best way then is to find out a directory that can locate the area after getting the code. For, only after narrowing the search down to the specific area; you can get information about the particular caller.

But the job is not over yet. The locale that the area code represents is normally a large one and finding the person there is like finding a needle among the straws. This is why the cell tracking phone generally requires a lot of time and patience.

However, the internet can make the task lot easier. There are sites that can reduce the drudgery of tracking the caller. They have advanced cell phone tracker technologies that locate the mysterious caller fast and with precision.

Phonenumbertracking.net is certainly one of them. They have a collection of more than 3.1 billion cell phone users and provide more information about the person than any other site. .

Product designers couldn't have designed it much worse if they tried. Due to the short length of USB cables, our precious devices usually are precariously rested on the table top, which equates to a suitably high cliff from which our beloved gadget is ready to fall. All it takes is a light brush or a slight snag of the USB cable and several hundreds pounds worth of cutting edge technology can be destroyed in seconds.

One of the best solutions to this potential danger is to get a monitor with USB 2.0 ports. However, if your display doesn't have this feature I have come up with a cheaper solution. It doesn't rely on any sort of wireless technology, but is just a simple way of moving your USB port to a more sensible position. If you run a USB extension cable from the back of your PC up to the back of your desk this keeps the cable out of harms way. I use a rubber band to tie the female end to my monitor cable, thus keeping it in a convenient position so I can easily connect and disconnect my devices.

Wireless devices are becoming increasingly popular and in time are set to replace USB cables. In the mean time, we are stuck with cables that double up as trip wires. Don't say you haven't been warned.
