How can you used a rug to help decorate, protect and keep your food preparation section clean? There are many reasons that you may want to consider adding a rug to your kitchen. This is not to say that you have to do this, but there are some benefits of doing so. As you have probably seen in the homes that you have visited, kitchen rugs are quite popular. In fact, there is a very good chance that you already have at least one of these in your kitchen. If not, you have probably at least thought about doing so.

Generally speaking, there are three main reasons main benefits offered by kitchen rugs. Of course, you may be aware of many other benefits, and that is why you have added one of these to your kitchen. Listed below are the three benefits that you should consider when it comes to deciding on the use of kitchen rugs.

1. Simply put, kitchen rugs are a great way to decorate. If you are like many homeowners, you may have a hard time decorating your kitchen to make it look the way that you want. Adding a rug is a great way to not only spruce up the floor, but to also pull the entire room together. It is amazing to think that so many people overlook kitchen rugs, but it happens time and time again. Also, by decorating with a rug you can tie together all of the different design elements that you might have in your food preparation area.

2. As you probably know, your kitchen has to put up with a lot of traffic day in and day out. After all, people want to eat when they are hungry. Through the use of a kitchen rug you will have the ability to protect your primary floor from a lot of traffic. Although you will not have kitchen rugs placed all over the floor, if you lay them strategically, you will be able to take advantage of this benefit.

3. Your kitchen is one room that you may have a hard time keeping clean. This is where a lot of people walk, and of course, where a lot of people in your home will eat. Additionally, the kitchen is where all the food is prepared. If you are tired of dropping food, grease, and everything else on your kitchen floor, look into adding a rug. You can lay a kitchen rug in the area that sees the most dirt, and in turn, solve your problem once and for all. Not to mention the fact that this will keep your primary surface much cleaner.

With the use of a rug you can make your kitchen look better, while adding some functionality at the same time. There is no reason that you should not consider what kitchen rugs can do for you. The benefits are many, and millions of homeowners are taking advantage. Are you going to be next? Or are you going to continue to live with your drab, and often times, dirty kitchen?

1.Dirty Floors- If this is your problem then you can simply mix 2 cups of vinegar with 6 cups of warm water. Use this concoction to scrub the floor and let dry. This will work best if you clean the house using a rag.

2.Filthy Windows- Put a club of baking soda in a spray bottle then you can spray the ingredient on the windows of your home. After which, you can wipe clean the glass with a rag.

3.Shine-less Woods- This is easy to be remedied. Simply combine 1 tablespoon of lemon juice with a portion of olive oil. You can merely pour this mixture on a clean dust rag and rub it into the wood through circular motion. If you wish, it would also be fine to simply place the mixture inside a spray bottle and simply spray on woods.

After which, you should also wipe the area using a rag in a circular motion. Do not get too excited by placing too much of the ingredients on your wood furniture if you do not like to spend your hours in wiping away the excess ingredients. Keep in mind that less is more.

4.Grimy Tub and Tile- You can mix 2 cups of baking soda with ample amount of water in order to achieve a smooth consistency. Apply the paste into the grimy tub and tile and let it sit for bout 30 minutes. When you are done, rinse off the ingredient using a soft rag in circular motion. You can as well make use of 50/50 part of vinegar and water. Using this rinse will further help in removing residue as it also helps to disinfect the place.

5.Dirty Carpet- this is not a problem if you only follow the right steps written here. What you need to do is to sprinkle baking soda on the carpet and wait for 15 minutes or longer depending on the carpet the needs to be cleaned. In doing this, you can either make use of the scented or non-scented version of baking soda.

When you are done, you can vacuum the area like how you would normally do. In case your carpet looks dull then you can add table salt and let it sit for about 15 minutes then vacuum again when you are finished. The salt will create a new shine!

6.Stinky House- if you are being worried by the bad smell of your house then you can make use of baking soda. Simply open a pack of baking soda inside the stinky room then place 3-5 drops pf essential oils on the box.

7.Generally Dirty House- mix 1 part of vinegar to 3 parts of water, you can use this as a general household cleaner. To make the smell lovable, you can place a couple of drops of essential oils of your choice on the box. Tea tree oil is also a good disinfectant.

8.Smelly Air- if you need something that could refresh the air then you can simply open your window and let air circulate the room better. For better smell, you can place a drop or two of any essential oils in your light bulbs. The heat of the bulb will allow the oil to spread the smell inside the room.

As you can see, most of the best remedies can be done easily with your own efforts with the best tools and natural cleaners that you can fin in your own homes. Cleaning your homes should never put your family's health into risks as well as your environment. If you are such a busy person and you don't have enough time to prepare such ingredients or cleaning recipes, you might as well go for green cleaning products which are made from organic materials thus they are safe and effective to use.

These natural cleaning products are great replacements for those harmful cleaning aid that you were using.
