Having a photographic memory is useful here, as the advantages of having the ability to remember every minute detail as if you have it right in front of you is a skill that cannot be more strongly emphasized.
This is a very useful skill to possess, and one that is not easily picked up. If it was, everyone would have it, and where is the advantage in that? However, you too can start on the path to getting a photographic memory with these 2 simple methods, also known as the visualization and association method. Once you have mastered this, you will find a significant improvement in your memory, and you will be halfway there on getting a photographic memory!
Method 1: Associate hard words with easy ones Ever had a list of foreign mambo jumbo staring up at you from a piece of paper? Worried about forgetting the jargon that could make or break a meeting or a presentation for the big boss? This method will ensure that you will never again have problems in keeping those tough words rolling off the tip of your tongue, potraying you to be the expert on the topic. All this involves is dissecting the word down into similar sounding words that you often come across in everyday life. For example, the word eschew can be broken down into similar sounding words of ?a shoe?!
Method 2: Associating hard words with Images This method can be used in addition to, or as a standalone from method 1. All it needs you to have is creativity, and the ability to assign a picture to a word. Using the earlier example of eschew, you could imagine yourself ducking to avoid a shoe being thrown. This will help you to remember both the word, eschew, and its meaning.
Often times, there is a very easy explanation for our lack of ability in recalling information ? we have never been taught about it in the first place. Sure, we've heard bits and pieces about it, or seen it on paper, but it did not get inputed into our long term memory. By using these 2 methods, you will be able to impress the information into your mind and you will not have any trouble in recalling the words or information that you need to anymore!
What is website traffic? Website traffic is actual people browsing your site. Many people have spent good money for the nicest-looking site with all the latest bells and whistles, but lack the visitors that actually generate cash from that site. This is just like building a Walmart, with all the items in stock and employees on staff, and placing in the middle of the Sahara desert.
There are numerous methods for getting traffic to your site. If you are in a hurry, the two methods I explain below should get your special attention.
The first basic fast-traffic method is to borrow the traffic. This may or may not work for your industry, but try and get creative and adapt it to your business because it can be very effective. What is done is to convince another website owner with a list of prospects and customers that would be interested in your product or service, and encourage them to recommend your products or services. In most cases, you will have to give them an affiliate or referral commission in order to encourage the referral.
This particular method is effective for two reasons I'll mention. Firstly, the website owner has already gathered the list of people who are interested in your specific topic, saving you the expense and time of identifying them. Secondly, in so doing you are "borrowing" on the goodwill of the referrer. Consider in your own experience. If you need to make a buying decision, do you place more weight in traditional, self-serving advertising or upon the impartial recommendations of friends and advisers? Most people choose the latter.
Borrowing traffic usually will not cost you out of pocket cash, although normally you should be prepared to pay out of your proceeds.
Next, consider paid advertising. Your options for paid advertising are many, and at the top of your list should be pay-per-click advertising. Google and their Adwords program is where you should begin, and before long, take a look at Yahoo and MSN. The largest benefit to pay-per-click advertising is it allows you to restrict who sees your ads; in this case, only those people who type specific words into the search engine will see the ad.
This method of advertising is attractive for numerous reasons. Chief of these is the ability to match the words people are searching for with your particular ad. Another great benefit is you can track many aspects of your pay-per-click campaigns.
This method does mean you will pay before making sales, although Google probably won't charge your credit card until the end of the month. As a caution, in the beginning you will want to monitor your Adwords account often to make sure you are not spending more than you intended.
