[H1320]How To Learn Spanish
by Patrick Clark Clark, Pat
To learn Spanish, you could go to college spend a lot of money and you could earn a degree in the language. At the end you would be very fluent. But, this will take valuable time. If you need to learn Spanish you will want to see result quicker than that and in a more affordable way. You can find this without a problem in several areas. In fact, you may even consider teaching your kids a second language as well. Learning Spanish should be fun, entertaining, and exciting!

Think back to when you learned to speak English. You don't remember that? Well, of course you don't! You were just a baby . How can a child learn to speak a language? It is through the use of pictures, sounds, and hearing the language on a daily basis that helps them to learn. But this won't work for you to learn how to speak Spanish, will it? Yes, it can. In fact, the best way to learn something new like this is, to see, hear, and be expose to the language every day.

Learning Spanish is easier than you think. Statistics show it is the second language most used in the United States and becoming the first language in many parts of the world . With world wide travel and communication becoming commonplace, it is certainly a must to learn Spanish. This will give you the edge you need to stay ahead of the game.

Or you might be looking for an opportunities to live and work outside of the country that would be unavailable to you otherwise. It is an options. And if you are looking at the large amount of counties in which Spanish is spoken it gives you a lot of options
Well what about learning Spanish? Reading is a good way. Pick up an English/ Spanish dictionary and look at the translation of the word you use the most. Or pick up the newspaper and translate all the words of an article. This takes time and can be frustrating but is very good way to learn. I have also found that the key to success is to write down the words you learn to get a visual of them, with this technique you will memorize them more effectively. It is a lot easier to remember a word when you know how it is spelled. You can figure out the pronunciation or you can get help with all the process of learning Spanish.

When I decide to learn Spanish I went online. I did a search and was quickly overwhelm with thousands of sites . However after trying to figure out which sites were actually helpful I came across one that seems to know what it is talking about and provides a wealth of information for free. Of course its ultimate goal is to sell you a product, but the free information is very well explained. There are numerous very good examples that are well explained and following the lessons is simple. For me it was the affordable and practical way to learn Spanish.

Take a moment to take yourself back to when you were learning English. You'll remember that you started learning to speak by listening to your parents repeatedly speak simple phrases and eventually repeating them back as best you could. It wasn't until much later that you actually had to learn to read, let alone study grammar.

Basically your environment enveloped you; English was all around you and slowly but surely you absorbed the language from what you heard around you. You made lots of mistakes ? you were expected to make mistakes ? but the result was that you were able to speak English without actually having to study it.

While your first language will be the easiest to learn, partially because you'll have none of the hang-ups associated with learning to do something, it is possible to follow the same kind of procedure you followed as a child to learn a second ? or third ? language.

So called immersion courses put you in a Spanish language environment with little opportunity to use your own language ? in class, out of class while performing specific tasks associated with forcing you to stretch your foreign language skills.

Often you'll be placed with a host family who will only speak to you in Spanish ? you'll cope all right and find your Spanish improves dramatically. Just like when you were learning English you're in an environment that envelopes you and when you sit down to a daily meal and go through repeated vocabulary it will serve to reinforce it in your mind and your self esteem will soar.

As I mentioned before it's not just your Spanish language skills that will improve; what about your cultural appreciation for the country you're staying in as well as making friends with the host family you stay with. Sports mad? Study Spanish in Barcelona where you can see FC Barcelona play in their famous stadium; or visit the marvellous old town of San Juan in Puerto Rico while improving your language skills.

As you can see there are some great advantages to learning Spanish through an immersion course, so why not take the opportunity while you can?
