This is a wonderfully easy scalloped potatoes recipe that also tastes like Grandma slaved away in the kitchen all day.
(serves 6 to 8 people)
Ingredients:
5-8 medium potatoes, sliced (about 6 to 8 cups) 1/2 cup of fresh onion, chopped 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and pepper 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 cup shredded cheese or bread crumbs(optional)
Mix salt, pepper, garlic, cream of chicken, milk, and sour cream together in a medium sized microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 30 seconds. Mix again. Set aside.
Place and mix together potatoes and onions in a oven-proof, greased baking dish. Pour seasoning mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes, covered. Remove from oven and stir well. Sprinkle optional topping over and return to oven for 20 minutes, uncovered. Serve warm. Enjoy your recipe.
