First one should know need that their arms are made of several muscle groups, the main two are your bicep, your triceps and your forearm. One's triceps are the keys to get big and attractive arms muscle. But most of the people are interested in building bicep muscle to look impressive and ignore the importance of building triceps muscle which is of equal importance. The triceps is a muscle that is on the back of the upper arm and cover 2/3 of the upper arm, so one must work hard to build triceps muscle in order to get impressive bicep muscle as biceps is a smaller muscle than the triceps muscle. It is located in the front of the upper arm.

So in order to get arm muscle one must work for all the muscle groups. Lying barbell extensions, Close grip bench press, triceps dumbbell extension, triceps push down, triceps dumbbell kick back and Triceps bench dips are some of the vital workouts which one have to do in order to get good triceps and to get good biceps one need to follow- Standing dumbbell curls, Dumbbell hammer curls, Incline dumbbell curls and Preacher curls and Dumbbell concentration curls. Reverse curls, Barbell wrist curls, Dumbbell wrist curls, Barbell reverse wrist curls and Dumbbell reverse wrist curls are very good exercises in building strong forearm.

It is necessary to keep in mind that when you are performing any workouts for building muscle, the movements should be done correctly otherwise you may not get maximum benefit from these workouts. The workouts help to stimulate the body to grow muscle and lose fat. When a workout gives results, the muscles are stimulated to grow properly. And when muscles are gained, the Basal metabolic rate (BMR) goes up thus helping the body to burn fat.

Genetics determines the proportion of slow twitch fibers to fast twitch fibers in a person's muscles. Those with a higher percentage of fast twitch fibers will gain muscle mass more readily and quickly than others. People with higher percentages of slow twitch fibers and experience a tougher time with building muscles. Genes cannot be changed but a proper diet can supply the body with what it needs to put on and sustain new muscle. The weight training can change the muscles.

Another important factor to gain muscle in the arm is to follow a strong and healthy diet. To build muscle in arms you need to consume a lot of vegetables, proteins, fruits, and healthy fat. Fruits and veggies are essential to restore your energy and stamina after your workouts. To put in altogether one must have fruits, vegetables and fat every 3hours with two glasses of water after completion of every meal.

Now let's get working on the triceps area. Start with overhead dumbbell triceps extensions with 8 to 10 repetitions. Once done, immediately follow it up with the dips exercise and continue repeating as much as you can. Here, again you will see the muscle rising and the end result is an increase in your muscles. Remember this exercise may take lesser time but is extremely strenuous. Triceps are larger than the biceps and you shouldn't neglect to work on them. Unfortunately many people tend to do that.

Another important thing to keep the arm muscles increasing along with the workouts is a proper diet and nutrition program. You can also try out the Narrow grip chin ups and close grip barbell press which can work as good aids for developing the bicep and triceps areas.

? Never exert training for the arm muscles. Because your arms already undergo physical exertion in your routine life and so it's possible that you may exert your arm muscles. Best way is to keep these workouts for the end.

? Another way to build the arm muscles is by getting the best from every rep. This way you increase the number of fibers concluding in the overall growth of the muscle.

? Very important is to keep the weights in control during the positive and the negative part of the lift!! Ensure the weight you are handling is apt for your muscles. Performing the lift as swiftly as you can while sustaining the weights, is the right way to getting your muscles bigger!!

? It is time you realize that each muscle comprises of many small muscles. So work on both the triceps and biceps to get those big arms.

? Never work on only one muscle. Because this can cause injuries to your ligaments. Trust me ripped arms look cool but injured ligaments aren't that cool.
