If you also do not want to use chemical laden creams and harsh prescription treatments to combat this aging process, then you might be interested in trying a natural cure for wrinkles. It may seem difficult to believe at first, but nature has provided ample of great products that can help resist the aging process in your skin. In fact, you can make your own anti-wrinkle products at home.

Why you should make your own anti-wrinkle products

When you choose to use a home made anti-wrinkle products, you are making a wise decision. When you use a home made product, you can be 100% positive that you know precisely what you are putting on your skin. You cannot say the same thing when you use over the counter anti-wrinkle products. In many occasions, over the counter products contain harsh chemicals. Some of these chemicals are carcinogens, chemicals that can cause cancer. Why would you want to apply these things on your face? When you use a home made product, at least you can control each substance that you apply on your skin.

Using a home made anti-wrinkle product is also a great way to save money. You can treat your wrinkles only with products that you already have around the house. Why do you need to spend hundreds of dollars a year on fancy products laden with chemicals if you can get great results from simple home products?

Start making your own products

There are many every day ingredients that you can use to make your own anti-wrinkle products. These ingredients are relatively inexpensive and should be easy to find in your home or your local store.

Castor oil is a good ingredient to make anti-wrinkle product. Castor oil, which is derived from the seed of the castor plants, has many relaxing properties. Simply apply pure castor oil with the tips of your finger or a cotton ball at least two times a day. Not only does this therapy help to delete fine lines that have already happened, but it also helps to prevent new wrinkles from happening.

Castor oil is also considered as one of the best defenses against dry skin. It has antioxidant properties and it can cleanse, heal, and detoxify your skin while adding essential moisture. When you use it on a regular basis you will begin to notice an improvement in the moisture content of your skin. Castor oil increases the blood circulation to any skin on which it is applied. Better circulation can help your skin to look much younger. You will notice your skin's pigment takes on a healthy glow and fine lines around your eyes and mouth begin to lessen. Even deep lines respond positively to a healthy blood circulation and start to fade away.

Another great home made anti-wrinkle product is a tea bag, which is useful to treat dark circles and bags around the eyes. Let a tea bag steep in hot water and then allow it to cool before you apply it on the skin around the eyes. When you remove the bags and circles under your eyes, you will get a more youthful appearance.

An anti-wrinkle product also can be made from things as simple as olive oil and an egg. You need to mix a teaspoon of olive oil with an egg and then rub it on the face. Give some time and allow it to dry. Take some bicarbonate soda and hot water and mix them together. Lastly use a cotton-wool piece of material, dip it into the mixture, and then use this to remove the olive oil and egg.

In addition to the ingredients above, other simple ways to keep your skin healthy is to drink plenty of water and have a healthy life style. What you eat, affects how your skin looks. Therefore, you need to make sure that you eat a healthy well balanced diet. Moreover, smoking must always be avoided. It can boost the aging process and deteriorate your overall health. Lastly, always wear sunscreen to minimize the damage caused by sun exposure.

Over time, our skin becomes wrinkled and discolored due to sun exposure and normal aging. Although this process is normal, not every wants to accept the changes that come along with age. There are all types of anti-aging creams and other products on the market that state they can reduce the signs of aging, but do they really work? The answer to this question is yes, but not every product on the market is able to give the results they state will occur.

When top-quality products are used, reversing the signs of aging is now possible. Discoloration of the skin is one of the major problems that occur with age, due to years of sun exposure and exposure to the natural environment.

Other factors can increase the aging process as well, such as smoking or living in areas with high pollution rates. Discoloration typically occurs on the cheeks and forehead, but can also occur on the neck as well as other parts of the face. Anti-aging products with bleaching ingredients can help to correct these small flaws, by bleaching dark spots in order to give the face a more natural and even look. The most commonly used bleaching ingredient is hydroquinone, and has been shown to tone down blotchiness and blemishes that occur with aging.

Wrinkles are another major problem that occurs with aging, yet there are all types of products and procedures on the market that can temporarily correct them. More expensive treatments include cosmetic surgery and Botox or collagen injections, but both can be very expensive and risky to undergo. Anti-wrinkle solutions work to tighten the skin to reverse and prevent wrinkles, but the results can only be minimal and temporary.

Anti-wrinkle creams are typically packed with antioxidants; such as Vitamin E and C. Antioxidants are natural ingredients derived from fruits, and have shown to protect our bodies from the free radicals that trigger the aging process. When combined with Vitamin A, antioxidants can work to reverse the signs of aging while smoothing and tightening the skin.

The texture of skin tends to diminish with aging, especially with increased sun exposure. While typical lotions can smooth the skin and give it a softer feel, it cannot reverse the signs of aging.

Exfoliate scrubs can work to get rid of dead skin cells to give the skin a softer look, but the problem with skin texture actually comes from the inside.

Creams and lotions that contain Vitamin C, Vitamin E, copper, and alpha-hydroxyl acid can actually penetrate the outer layer of skin and work from the inside out, by providing moisture to all layers of skin to give it a softer and smoother feel. Skin repairing creams only have a temporary effect though, and must be used on a daily basis in order to provide long-lasting effects.

Anti-aging products that contain the right ingredients have been shown to work, but there are also many brands on the market that don't work as well. High concentrations of active ingredients must be present in order to give results, but even those cannot guarantee satisfactory results for every single customer. So the answer to whether or not anti-aging products really work is yes, but only those that contain the right ingredients and high concentrations of them.

The only way to get guaranteed results is to undergo cosmetic procedures to reverse the signs of aging, but they can be very expensive, risky, and there is always the chance of a procedure not coming out to the patients satisfactory.

Anti aging creams and other products are great for slowing down or improving the signs of aging, but cannot stop or reverse the natural effects on the skin that occurs after years of exposure to free radicals.
