Women

When it comes to text messaging, women seem to have it pretty easy. Why? Well, for two reasons: First, it is because men do most of the approaching, and the other is the fact that women are more experienced because they send 100 times more text messages than men.

This does not necessarily mean women are good at texting. In fact, women goof up pretty bad in some areas. One area women really mess up in is when they send boring one-liners. For example, lets say a guy sends a message like, "That was a crazy concert last night, how did you like it?" About 50 percent of the time the woman is going to respond with some boring one-liner that has no question attached to it like, "it was good" or "good." Some women think this is playing "hard to get" when really they are playing "boring to interact with so move on." In the big picture, a lot of these women are ruining their chances and they have no idea they are doing it. Now let's go back and give a flirty response that men can work with... for example: "Ya I loved it, you will have to try to keep up with me next time :)" As you can see there is a pull to respond back and most importantly, it's FLIRTING!

Men

First, let's get on the same page. Men and women are different when it comes to interacting with each other. Us men get the numbers and then we almost always take the role of initiating the conversation. After years of coaching men on how to be successful with women, I have come to realize that most men have no clue about how to text women.

What usually happens is that most men go into default mode when they text women and send messages to women like they are sending messages to friends. Men burn themselves by sending these normal, day-to-day conversation words like "how are you?" "I am out of class, that teacher was boring." "What are you doing?" These messages are boring, they do nothing to women and your success with them goes down the drain.

Key point for men: you need to send messages that make women feel something. For example: let's change those last messages to something more flirty... "Hey honey" "I was just in class and the teacher there reminded me of you, except she was cuter." "Hey we are heading to a party, you should come?"

You don't get on a roller coaster because it's boring, you get on it because you know you are going to feel something. A woman will text you and desire you if you can create that same roller coaster feeling.
