[H1078]How To Find Financial Advisor
by Verona Raymond, Ver

With the amount of people losing their jobs these days, it's harder than ever to get out of debt. Most people don't know how to get debt free without getting outside assistance. The best strategy would be to get help from a financial advisor or counselor. Seeking out organizations and agencies that offer services to help you get on the right track such as creating budgets, planning, and strategies for achieving financial freedom will take some time and effort. The end result will be very worth while though.

Your financial situation may seem overwhelming and it may seem like a problem that will be so hard to fix. In these times, it's important to go to God with your worries and any other problems you may have. In the Bible, Jesus speaks to the Christians and tells them to let go of worry and to trust him. Now is the time to form a closer relationship with Jesus and place this in his hands, and then freeing yourself of financial worries. Worrying keeps people from enjoying the productive life that they were meant to live.

In the Bible, Jesus instructed to "therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? or, what shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."(Matthew 6:31-33). Jesus will provide his people with knowledge on how to get out of debt.

Some valuable strategies to follow on getting debt free, is to create a budget by listing all financial obligations start from the smallest to the largest. Paying off the smallest balance debt first and then continue by paying off the larger ones is the best strategy. By doing this and learning to live below your means will enable an individual to stop using credit cards and getting loans. Try to see if you can decrease the interest rates on existing credit cards and even your home mortgage. This will also help to get them paid off even faster. You should also try to pay a little extra and not just the minimum payment on the smallest credit card or debt that is due. Even if there are thoughts of not being able to put anything extra down…trusting Jesus that he will provide is the right thing to do and you will see positive results from doing this.

Both Christian and secular financial counseling organizations can assist and teach anybody how to manage and eliminate debt. Getting help with making a budget and possibly consolidating debts to be able to pay off at a faster rate will be very beneficial. Getting out of debt will become a reality with patience and determination. Seeking out professional assistance and learning the best plan of action, with faith that you will attain financial freedom is the key.

You may think that you will need to make more money in order to become financially free. In fact, this may not be necessarily the case. Instead you should try to find a balance between your income and expenses.

As a matter of fact, the notion of financial freedom is an attitude towards money. What do you need to worry about if you have a home, you get enough to eat etc. You will become financially free if you do not need to worry about your basic needs. It is easy right?

Assuming that your income is enough for your basic needs, you have to learn to control your expenses in a way that they will not exceed your income. Sometimes we spend our money not because we need to buy something. In most cases we buy an item because we want to.

Can you see the difference here? Something you need and something you want to have are different in nature. If you keep buying things out of your desire, you can easily be in debt. Of course this will not be a problem if you can be sure that you can buy them without resulting in any financial stress. Yet, you really have to worry when you are in debt! And in order to be financially free, you will have to be debt free at least. You will never achieve the status of financial freedom if you are in debt!

Of course you should also try to set some financial goal for yourself. If you do not have a home yet, you should start save money in order to get a home. Here, it is very important that you always spend according to your needs but not desires. You will find that you can easily save money if you spend you money according to your needs.

At this point you should understand that the notion of financial freedom is always related to the way you manage your expenses. The basic idea is that you should control your expenses according to your income. And at the same time you should also find ways to save money. If you can do so, you are financially free now!
