What do you exactly mean by anxiety? Anxiety is nothing but your normal reaction while you are in stress, it can be while you are in office and you have a very important project or presentation and things are not working well for you. While you have your exams and you trying hard to put that one fat book in your head. Maybe you have all your attention towards the speech or a certain work. In short, anxiety helps you to cope, but when it is excessive, it becomes a certain disorder. So far we understood about anxiety, what must be panic attacks? Panic attacks are sudden changes or overwhelming fear which comes without a warning and with no reason. So anxiety panic attacks occur when someone is taking too much of stress and a person may undergo a panic attack. There is no proper reason why one has the panic attack while doing work or while they thinking of too much about other things.

If we do believe in statistics then every individual picked up from a group of 75 people must have had panic attacks in his or hers lifetime once. If you consider any one year then about one third of the entire population of United States have experienced panic attacks. One of the reasons for these panic attacks can be emotions also, a person having problems with his personal relationship happens to fall a prey to panic attacks. Anxiety or panic attacks are the most common attacks. Unfortunately the cases of panic attacks are increasing day by day.

The most common symptoms of panic attack are sudden increase in your heartbeats, you may be having difficulty in breathing or you may feel as there is no oxygen in the air. You may feel that you will be paralyzed or sometimes you think that some part of your body will suddenly stop working. Nervousness can be a reason, too much of body shaking can be a symptom too. When you are feeling dizziness, sweating even if you are in an air conditioned room, sudden fear that something is not right, sudden chills are also the symptoms. A fear that you will go crazy in some time or your life is just going to end can be the symptoms of panic attacks. You get that hollow feeling and nothing seems right.

Panic attacks may occur instantly and reaches its maximum limit within 1 or 2 minutes once they start. A person might take around 30 minutes again to come in a normal condition, some might take hours to again all their senses back. According to a research 3/4th of the women population have experienced panic attacks. It is very important to take care of this disorder; a powerful but harmless treatment for anxiety panic attack is hypnosis. This will not only help you in lowering the stress and tensions, but also make you happy and confident enough to show what you have got. *Numbness or tingling in the toes or fingers.
*Chills or feeling hot.
*A great fear that you are about to die and are losing control.
They can be passed on to a child by one or both parents. A stressful event will often bring on an attack. The exact cause of the attacks has not been uncovered.
Psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and medications like Paxil and Zoloft are often prescribed. Xanax or Klonopin are used also. Drugs for an irregular heart beat can be prescribed which are called beta blockers.
With the right treatment 90% of people will get relief. With some people the attacks will resurface later in life after they have stopped treatment. Some people never seek treatment for there anxiety or panic attacks so the exact number of suffers is really just a guess. There are so really good non-drug techniques that have came about recently that are helping thousands of people.
There are some things you can do to reduce stress and help with the symptoms like: stopping or reducing your intake of caffeine which can be found in coffee, tea, cola and chocolate. Also check with a doctor or pharmacist before taking any over-the counter medications or herbal remedies because they can contain chemicals that can increase anxiety or panic attack symptoms.
I want to encourage anyone suffering from panic or anxiety attacks to seek help because they greatly affect your daily functioning and general quality of life.
I speak from personal experience because I have been married for 25 years and my wife has struggled with the attacks most of her life.
