Imagine being able to lose belly fat, so that you finally can have a flat stomach, with toned abs. Sound impossible? You've tried everything but nothing seems to work? Well, if you have been doing 150 crunches per day, and you still can't see any result, I can tell you why. You are doing it the wrong way. Sorry, but that is the truth. Our bodies are not made so that you can target one area of your body, and hope for that to be enough. This means you need to look at your body as a whole. If you are only doing crunches, you will never be able to lose your belly fat. Workouts Ab exercises are great, but avoid getting into a rut. If you do millions of crunches only, your body will get used to it, and they will not be very effective. Make your exercising a bit more fun by trying something new. Some great exercises are Bicycle Crunches, V-Sit and Toe Raises. These will work your core, and will include more muscles in the exercise. This will help you burn more fat. Don't be scared of using weights when working out. Don't worry; you will not end up like the Hulk. You see, muscle tissue will even burn fat when resting. So more muscles equals burning more fat. This will help you getting rid of your belly fat. Another important tool when losing weight is to get your heart rate up. Aim for 30 minutes of cardio every day. It doesn't necessarily mean going to gym every day. Do something different, like going for a walk in the morning, always talking the stairs, go swimming, etc. Remember to exercise all your muscles, your body needs balance. This means that if you are only working your abs, your back will be out of balance. Give all your body parts a wake up call, and you will feel much better. Diet If your diet contains a lot of junk food, sweets, sodas, beers, and sugar, you will never get rid of your pot belly. Take a little bit of time, and find out what it is that your body needs. Don't get fooled by a pill that will make you thin by tomorrow, there is NO QUICK FIX to a great body. Make fresh fruits, vegetables, and lean meats a big part of your diet. And drink water instead of sodas. Never starve yourself, even if you are trying to lose weight. Remember to spoil yourself. Not too often, but every now and then. It's very unlikely that you will be able to keep it up, if you constantly deny yourself anything that is nice. You need to remember to stay patient. The midsection it the last area your body will actually lose weight. But stay determined. If you don't give up, you will soon see great results.
Typically, both men and women tend to carry a little bit of this fat around the midsection and even though the belly fat may go away to a certain extent, there may still be some lower belly fat that is left over. As long as this belly fat is there, we are never going to be truly happy with how our body looks so it is necessary for us to lose it, once and for all.
Unfortunately, this can be a very difficult thing to do and many of us try to do it with methods that will never work.
For example, targeting that area of our body with abdominal exercises is not going to do anything to burn the fat off of our lower belly. As a matter of fact, it will give us a strong core but until we find a way that we can burn the lower belly fat off of our body, it is still going to be there. That is why it is necessary for us to change the way that we are looking at exercise and also to get a fresh perspective on our diet.
Since it is impossible for us to target fat loss to specific areas of our body, we need to find the best way in order to lose the body fat over all of our body.
If our lower belly is where the fat tends to accumulate, this is going to be the last place that we are going to lose the fat. In order to burn the fat off of this area of our body, we need to exercise the largest muscles in our body, the legs, chest and back.
The best way for us to do this is to target them with multi-joint weightlifting exercises and to build up additional lean muscle mass that will get our metabolism up and running amazingly well.
It is also necessary for you to change your diet to a certain extent in order to lose this fat. Unfortunately, far too many people try to do this by cutting out all of the carbohydrates or reducing their fats to an unhealthy level. The simple fact of the matter is, we need these things in our diet in order to be totally balanced and to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
In order for you to burn fat off of your lower belly or anywhere else on your body for that matter, it is necessary for you to eat a balanced diet that includes a healthy amount of carbohydrates, protein and fat.
It's going to take work on your part but by eating a proper diet and doing the proper exercises, you would be surprised with how quickly the fat will disappear. Give it a month of living in this fashion and you will see the fat melt away quickly.
