by John Porter, Joh

Pockmarks and awful scars on your face and shoulders make you very unimpressive and give you an ugly look. You also tend to develop an inferior complexity and many a time you lose self-confidence due to your dull profile. If by any means you can inhibit the growth of acne on your skin at the initial stage, there is no other better preventive way than this. But once scars have come up on your skin you have to be highly cautious regarding their removal through proper treatment.

Treatment of acne scars is very sensitive in nature. You have to careful about two important things. The first thing is that whether there are simply a few patches or scars on the skin that require medical help. The next step is to find out that acne are still coming out on the skin or not. In the second situation you have to first of all check the growth of fresh acne on the skin. Only then you can move to the next phase of curing the scars.

Acne scars directly create a pale image of your face. Hence, the primary treatment you must undergo is to publicly give them a hideout through enveloping them with something. In this case acne protective foundation creams are very suitable that reduces both inflammation and covers up the patches.

Topical lotions have to be selected by their compositional elements. Benzoyl peroxide is common to treat the pimples and spots but for the removal of the scars you need something more. Tretinoin is a chemical component present in the anti-acne lotions that plays a significant role in clearing the scars. Also try to apply sunscreen that has this chemical as a compositional element.

There are special injections to heal the scars but suggestion from the professional is must before applying those. Face packs are helpful but it has to be BHA or Beta Hydroxy Acid and AHA or Alpha Hydroxy Acid in its composition. The health of your skin along with the radiance is retained through such face packs and gradually the scars too disappear.

Dermabrasion is the surgical way to cure acne scars where the layer that holds the scar is removed through operation. A better method nowadays is the laser technology to burn the same layer and replace it by a fresh and new layer of skin. Though a bit expensive the latter has become very popular among the beauty conscious folks.

Acne is a skin problem that can give worries to both men and women of all age groups. There are many products available in market to clear acne scars. But I will recommend either herbal acne cream or homemade acne treatment. The choice is yours. One thing you should keep in mind before using home treatments for acne is they are not a miracle and will not give you clear face in one day. But the best thing is that they are free from side effects and will not harm your skin anyway. If you want a quick result or do not have time for home treatments then you have another good choice of herbal acne skin care creams or lotions.
