[H991]How To Cure Anxiety Attacks
by Mike Schlacter, Mik
The simple answer to this is yes, you can cure anxiety, but unfortunately the reality is that the cure is anything but simple. It depends on a number of things, the most important of which is your frame of mind and committing to a more relaxed mind-set that will allow you to let some things in your life slide that are currently raising your stress levels.

Anxiety usually isn't a medical issue and so traditional forms of medication aren't likely to cure it. One of the first things you need to accept is that however bad your anxiety issues are, there's a big chance that you are creating them from some place deep inside. There are some anxiety issues, such as post traumatic stress, or obsessive compulsive disorder which do have a mental health root, but for the most part people develop many physical symptoms ? such as nausea, pain, dizziness and even infections ? as a result of irrational fears, or fears that have grown from life experiences.

For example, it could be that as a child you or a sibling had an accident on a bicycle, and now as a parent, you have a dread of your own child cycling when you aren't there. This fear could result in you feeling sick, or even being sick if you have a severe anxiety issue. Other people have fears of such things as going to the dentist because of either themselves or someone they knew having a bad experience.

If anxiety is ruling your life, and you feel that you can't enjoy doing the same things as everyone else simply because you are held back by fears that you know are irrational but which you feel powerless to change, you will need to start your cure by identifying first of all what it is that really triggers your anxiety. Accepting that you can change how you are may seem like a small step to take, but the reality is that it's a huge step.

You also need to identify the symptoms which are related to anxiety and separate these from other health issues you may have ? if you aren't sure, then a discussion with your doctor should help you feel confident that you're not overlooking something that needs medication. The more physical your anxiety symptoms, the harder it will be to accept that your mind can create these panic attacks, but the quicker you are to understand how you think and feel about things mentally is related to how you feel physically, the quicker you will be able to begin to cure anxiety and retake control of your life.

Many people use techniques for anxiety such as videos, whilst others think that they are a little too much like ?New Age? mumbo-jumbo. The fact is that this kind of anxiety treatment can be very beneficial for those looking to cure anxiety. They can teach you tools that can be used whenever you feel the anxiety start to build up. Remember that it is possible for you to cure anxiety problems if you are committed to doing so, or even make a big difference in how it affects your life.

Self –Hypnosis is communicating with your subconscious mind. You negotiate with your own self by controlling your mind. It is not difficult to practice it and there is a basic procedure, which I will explain to you. Follow these instructions step by step:

Preparation:

Find and sit in a comfortable place, which is quiet and ensure you are not disturbed

Inducing Self Hypnosis

Close your eyes, take a deep breath, hold a few seconds and exhale. As you exhale count down from three to one (3,2,1) and think to yourself “Relax"

To deepen your hypnotic state, take five slow deep breaths. Each time as you exhale, say to yourself: “Deeper and deeper, more and more relaxed".

Imagine yourself being in a beautiful, calm and ideal place (some people imagine a garden, hill station or a beach or even a quiet place at home)

Now tell yourself: Each day I become more and more relaxed. I am so relaxed so at ease. I now experience life peacefully and tranquilly. I am at peace and I feel in balance and harmony. I now choose to experience life as a tranquil oneness.

Awakening from Hypnosis

To come out of hypnosis, you can count up from one to three and open your eyes. As you start counting tell yourself that you will come out completely alert, refreshed.

Now count from one to three and open your eyes feeling better than before Self-Hypnosis can help you get rid of your stress, fear and anxiety.

Practicing this exercise twice in a day regularly will help you cure your fears, stress and anxiety.
