[H981]How To Convince Your Parents To Get A Dog
by Angelo Drew, Ang
A newly conducted research by a leading high-street bank reveals that an increasingly large number of young home buyers are turning to their parents to get them a home. Estimates by the Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) suggest that over 40% of the first time buyers since 2004 have been helped by their parents for buying their dream house. This suggests that almost half of the borrowers depend on their parents to get them a home.

Secured loans taken on the basis of the equity stored in the parent's house work the best guarantee for their children. The figures show that more than 23% of Brits, who already own homes, have received help from their parents. The loan in such cases is taken by the parents on their house, based on the equity available. The instalments are then paid by their children. This way, secured loans help borrowers to raise another home from an already existing home.

Cheap secured loans are thus helping youngsters to climb swiftly on the property ladder. Commenting on the research, CML head of research, Bob Pannell said: “Over the past few years, parents have been providing significant help to younger home-buyers and there is uncertainty about whether they can do even more."

cheap secured loans can be anything in between £5,000 to £250,000. Such a hefty amount can surely be enough to buy anyone a house. The repayment period on such loans is long one as well. So, the youngsters can easily pay the small instalments on their secured loans over a long period of time.

These loans also come with flexible repayment options as well. The borrower can choose from capped, fixed and variable rate of interest. Because of the low APR they attract, these are also called cheap secured loans. So, those of you who dream of buying a home, ask your parents to avail secured loans.

Prom safety is one of the main concerns of every parent, guardian and organizing school. It is that one tricky area which can make a lot of difference in how the prom finally turns out to be. In this regards, it will really not be a good idea to leave the prom goers completely without supervision and most proms are supervised by at least a few people. But this does not have to be the case and more people can join in to make the prom safer.

Those who are chosen to chaperon post prom parties and the parents of the prom goers, can all contribute towards making the prom safer. There are really a variety of ways in which these people can join in at the organizing and supervision levels. There are many areas that need securing and attention when a prom is afoot.

For example, when the prom venue is being decorated and ready, people can help out with it and check for potential safety hazards at the venue. If there is a temporary stage being erected for the prom, the safety and stability of the stage should be ensured.

When the prom begins, a few people can be attending the various stages of the entrance and the exit to make sure that nothing goes wrong in those areas. A few extra people can be chosen to supervise the prom from the inside. Of course, they do not necessarily have to stick out like sore thumbs; they have to blend in to the background. They can go around the periphery of the party, make sure everyone's playing nice. Someone can also man the food area to keep an eye out for any attempts to tamper with the food and this will also help them to blend in to the surroundings. The most important thing to do is to keep a low profile and not to make their presence felt.

There are usually several dangerous areas around the venue where unwanted activities might be possible. So some people should be enlisted to keep a look out at these areas. These are usually shady, dark areas like back rooms, unused green rooms, backyards, etc. So some people should periodically go and check these areas to see that nothing wrong is being done there.

As is obvious by now, there is a lot of scope for chaperones and parents to get involved. But please keep in mind that these extra precautionary measures should not lower the legitimate enjoyment of the prom goers. They should not feel surrounded and constantly monitored. They need to have some fun, so be prepared to overlook a few small things like couples getting innocently cozy.
