Don't you find it annoying when you loose your TV remote? What about when someone steals the batteries out of it? Well now with the special software, its now possible to turn your mobile phone into a Universal TV remote. There are several pieces of software available to do this what can be uploaded and installed on your mobile phone.
The software can be downloaded from various mobile software vendors. The program is written for Symbian based mobile phones, so the likes of Nokia (See List) will support it.
Once you found the software, upload it onto your Nokia and install it. Below are instructions on how to upload files to your Nokia and what you will need to do so.
Three items you will need are Nokia mobile phone (see list below), USB data cable or Bluetooth USB dongle and
Nokia PC Suite.
Firstly, install the Nokia PC Suite software onto your computer, you can easily get this software off the Nokia website. Once installed, connect your Nokia Mobile to the computer via USB Cable, the software should automatically detect your phone.
Load up the PC Suite software. On the main screen, you should see 'File Manager' option, click on that and it will open up a window with your mobile phone directory. Here you can find all your files like video recordings and photos.
Simply drag the Software over to your mobile phone directory and allow it a minute or so to upload.

The software turns your phone into a universal remote so you can use it on wide range of products, ranging from TVs to Air conditioners (See list). The software can download the latest software for new TVs and Devices. I've tried it on nearly ever device in my house and the software has at least a decent compatibility.
The menus are fairy strait forward, when it loads up you will be faced with a list of devices to select from. Select the device of choice and then you will be faced with a list of 'Brands' of that product. For this example, we will select TV and go into Brand 'JMV' List.
Now, the software will connect to the database and find all the latest models and Plugin required for the individual TVs, Once downloaded it wont need to be downloaded again. Once downloaded, it will give you a list of specific models in the TV Brand. For me, I will select 'ED20002'.
Once the model of TV is selected, you will see an image appear, very similar to a TV remote button layout. This will give you an idea on what keys to press on your mobile phone to do various features on your mobile phone.
