Gary Player, the world-renowned golfer and the sport's first great international ambassador, has designed 2 high-class, seaside golf courses on the Black Sea named the Black Sea Rama. A total of ?30 million has been invested in these facilities, one located near Varna and the other near Balchik.

These developments are gargantuan, containing villas, apartments, shops and marinas. Black Sea Golf Resorts and Sofiabased 3G are investors in the project. Gary Player says that the 2 new courses meet the world's highest standards. Construction on the very first Black Sea site started in June 2004. Furthermore, a tourist complex costing ?10 million has been built near the popular Bulgarian Black Sea resort of Primorsko.

Along the Ropotamo river, there will be a golf course stretching for over 800 acres. French investors who have designed the complex are also planning to build a hotel, golf academy and a number of boutiques, restaurants and nightclubs. The hotel will provide accommodation for another 1,000 people.

The Mayor's office has also recently announced that a Consortium is to invest over ?15 million into building an F1 racing circuit in Kavarna, near the city of Varna.

The final new emerging investment property hotspot in Bulgaria is Blagoevgrad which is a city and a province in south-western Bulgaria. The city is the administration centre for the province and it is also the economic and cultural centre of south-western Bulgaria acting as a transportation hub for Bulgaria to connect to Greece, Serbia and Macedonia
