Bingo is a great and growing games among so many people and so many nations. With this growing game, means more people are trying this old time game called bingo for the first time of their lives. So with many people signing up for internet bingo each and every day the number continues to grow of people interested and trying to learn more about this great game called bingo. Here are some of the average terms that will help you understand this great game of bingo.

Bingo board - This is actually the board that is set up in front of the bingo hall and shows all the numbers and lights up the ones that have been called. Most of the time this board is electronic with lights.

Bingo booklets - This is an actual book, and in this book is the different series of games which will be played for that evening of bingo. Most of the time each sheet of the book will be a different color and different game.

Bingo card - This is the actual card that you purchase that has all your numbers that you will be able to mark off and when you have all the numbers for that particular game it's your time to shout out bingo.

Buy-in and minimum buy-in - This is the cost or amount that is needed to be able to play for this game. Some games have a 2 to 6 bingo card minimum. You will then have to buy at least 2 bing cards to qualify for the bingo winnings.

Caller - This is the person that stands in front of everyone and will pull out and call the numbers. This person is part of the game, but is not literally playing the game.

Coverall - This is just a type of bingo game that can be played. It's literally when the whole bingo card is covered completely then that person wins.

Dauber - This is what they call the special marker or big pen looking object called a bingo dauber. Daubers can come in all different colors and usually have a foam tip and will mark your bingo card perfectly for the numbers in the boxes.

Four corners bingo - This is another type of bingo game. This bingo game is where you need to have all the four corners marked, which would be B1, B5, O1, and O5.

On-player - This is a name or term for a player that is one number shy of winning bingo. They were very close, but yet they were just a on-player.
Random number generator - This is when an electronic machine, instead of the caller picks up the number for the game.

Tickets - This is the identification or bar code that each book or card has when claiming a bingo. These tickets can figure out each of the pages that are in the booklet.

Wrap-up - This is the name of the game that will usually end or the last game of the bingo evening. While there are other type and names of games such as speed bingo, moonlight bingo, and early bird bingo.
