Its based around a seam welded origami construction, it basically eliminates almost all seam tape, stitching holes and thread. This allows the fabric to breath more easily and also takes the moisture away from your body and into the outer wear faster then previous snowboarding jackets. Also because the fabric is more breathable it means that the it can dry faster.
