The Best Cellulite Wrap Treatment
by Patricia Hammond, Pat
A typical cellulite wrap may be a great way to get rid of stubborn cellulite. With a good cellulite wrap you can have lesser fat deposits, increased blood circulation, lesser toxin levels and a more relaxed state. Not every cellulite wrap is a good one though and you would need to separate the good ones from the bad ones.

How to Use a Cellulite Wrap

You can buy a cellulite wrap and use it at home or you can go to a spa for a cellulite wrap treatment. Both ways involve having to wear special clothing or a wrap around that is made of special rubber or plastic.

The more expensive kind of cellulite wraps already come soaked in cellulite lotion or in solutions. A cellulite wrap is swathed around and left on the cellulite area for a few minutes or hours. Some wraps may be used while performing one's daily activities. Other wraps however are recommended for use at night while sleeping.

How Wraps Work

Regardless of whether you use a wrap at home or go to a spa for it, all cellulite wraps work in much the same way. The lotion, solution or materials in a wrap are supposed to be able to help melt down body fat and increase blood circulation to reduce the appearance of cellulite and promote waste removal. Other wraps use a combination of compression, aromatherapy and natural herbal solutions to promote detoxification.

Miracle Wraps

There are some products that will claim to be able to miraculously remove cellulite and reduce total body fat in a matter of minutes or overnight. Some of these so called miraculous products however do not have scientifically supported materials and ingredients that have been proven to help reduce cellulite.

A miracle cellulite wrap may be able to truly reduce fat but only because it induces profuse sweating. In most cases, the fat reduction is only temporary and may return after you eat a good meal or return to your usual activities. To date, there are no effective miraculous quick fixes for cellulite.

Dangers

Trust only reputable spas to give you the proper cellulite wrap treatment. The incorrect use of a cellulite wrap could lead to excessive loss of body fluids which could lead to dehydration which in turn could endanger your life. A spa with qualified personnel may be able to properly monitor both your condition and the use of a cellulite wrap. A good spa will also be able to give you a more refreshing and energizing experience.

Checking the Ingredients

Find out first the kind of ingredients used with the cellulite wrap before using it. There are really natural ingredients that have been found to help break down fat and promote blood circulation. Coffee for example is an active ingredient that can both promote fat break down and blood flow. Algae extract is another important wrap ingredient that could help flush toxins out of the body. These natural ingredients can penetrate deep into the skin when used with a cellulite wrap.
