All internet marketing is not bad. On the contrary, I personally have affiliated marketing sites for selling my products over the web. Not every pre-packaged program is garbage, but you have to be weary of the ones that are. There are a heap of swindlers out there dying to take your money and waste your time.

Most of these scammers have been misled themselves and many have just been matched to the wrong products for them. There is a real key to selling services and products and running your own business via the internet.

Sell your dream, not someone else's! Everyone has at least one area they know well or one skill they can offer others that people will pay for. Pay per click and the internet is merely the platform that has been provided so you can place products in the right spot for others to buy them.

Unless you are among the small percentage of people who are outstanding salesmen, you will never have the passion to sell a pre-packaged kit product that you would have for your own. If your focus is on selling your own products or skills, you will feel inspired to achieve greatness.

If you knit, sell knitting patterns. If you do carpentry or woodworking, sell videos of your techniques or how-to guides. If you see a commodity that you can get cheap (like, say, old satellite dishes), find a way to sell it online with an online store to people in areas in underserved markets. Whatever you do, do something that you understand, that you believe in, and that focuses on the things that you add to the proposition to make it happen.

Understand that if you have a need, and have found a way to solve it, other people probably have that exact same need. If you can find them, or they can find you (and Pay Per Click advertising will LET them find you), then you can sell them that same solution and make a decent income. Will it make you financially secure, pulling down hundreds of thousands of dollars per month? Probably not, but it can give you a job where you only have to work for someone as smart as yourself, can work the hours you want, and can never be fired, doing the things that make you happy.

Doing what you're passionate about is like getting paid twice. You earn a great income and you have an even better life.
