[W251]Wedding Car For Hire
by Gary Stephens, Gar
When it comes to wedding car hire the decorations that come with the car are just as important as the hire itself. While the decorations are very simple items they make a very bold statement about the occasion and also the define the bride and grooms wedding as a momentous event and bring attention to the fact that this truly a special event.

The two most predominant wedding car hire decorations that are a must for any wedding are:
The Ribbon
The Tulle

These two items alone make any wedding car stand out during the journey form point A to point B.

The ribbon colour for your wedding car is completely up to your own personal opinion, some people choose to match it with colours already in the wedding for example the bridal party. While this is a popular choice with many of todays weddings the colour white still holds a very tradition in its numerous strands.

The ribbon for you wedding car hire will always be supplied by the driver or company that you have chosen to use, all you have to do is decide on the colour.

What ever the choice the wedding car ribbon is a must have.

The colour of the tulle is set to a standard white which again holds a significant traditional value within its silky netting. However additional colours are available to suit each persons requests and desires.
Tulle generally is made form silk however can also be made from nylon and rayon. As with the ribbon the tulle also is a must for the traditional wedding car hire.

As with the ribbon the ribbon the tulle is also supplied by the driver or company again all you need to do is choose the colour.

There are also many other wedding car hire decorations most of which come down to the individual persons beliefs/religions or tastes.
Other wedding car hire decorations may include:
Statues of the bride and groom
Wedding wreaths
Bouquets of flowers
Red carpet upon arrival

All of these are just a few more ideas but are not really essential they may just add something to make the day a little more personalized.

Statues of the bride and groom are great mementos of your special day and create a really unique feel to the experience, positioned in the back window they will also make for exhilarating and totally brilliant photos.
The wedding wreaths are very similar to a Christmas wreath however instead of being made from green tree like branches, these wreaths are made using a combination of silks, ribbons, flowers, tiny jewels and for the finishing touch a picture of the bride and groom to be.
Bouquets of flowers are very popular and as flowers are beautiful by themselves bringing them together with the wedding car they really set the perfect scene.
Red carpet arrival is what it says offering the bride the chance to be a star after all it is a momentous occasion.

I trust that this has now given you an insight into the many ways in which you can create the most beautiful of wedding days combining the right decorations really makes all the difference.

When my brother got engaged we naturally had a rather large and joyous celebration where we all enjoyed much revelry and indulgence. However, after the obligatory hangover I sat with my brother and started to actually plan the practical element of the ceremony. My brother was getting married in Sidcup and while we sat there we decided that his bride to be could settle the location and decoration while we would sort out the transport. After heading to the pub however the conversation raised some interesting ideas for wedding car hire.

One of the first considerations for wedding car hire is naturally the classical and elegant vintage car. There are wealth of companies around Sidcup that offered these types of services, with vehicles such as nineteen thirties Rolls Royce, Bentleys and Jaguars. Understandably we weighed the benefits of these vehicles, firstly they would give the right impression on arrival to the church and we were sure the bride to be would also be happy with choice. However after a little research we found there were far more services in the Sidcup area that offered more original choices.

One of these original choices was a VW Beetle or a Morris Minor. For those not duly bothered about size these are perfect offering a charm that is harder to find with larger cars. While they may not be luxurious they are appealing and quaint. For instance what could be cuter than turning up to the church in a Volkswagen Beetle decorated in the Herbie colours? The lovable style and design of this car is timeless and while it may not have the elegance of a Rolls Royce, it is just as much of a classic.

Size for some people however may be an issue, making larger cars a very real possibility. Within Sidcup there are now companies that are offering car hire services with American classics like the Cadillac and Buick. These gas guzzlers may not be suitable for the more environmentally conscious but for those who want a wedding with panache and style they can be a great idea; although bright pink may be a little over the top.

In recent years military vehicles have become popular with some couples. However you may have to travel further than Sidcup to find one, but it can be worth it. The Hummer is always a popular choice although in the last few years' tanks and armoured personnel carriers have also become available for wedding hire purposes.

This however is when the conversation got a little bit ridiculous. After further research we found a company that specialised in car hire of vehicles from various television programmes and films. This is mine and my brother's area of expertise so we spent a great deal of time discussing this point. We wondered if his bride to be would accept the choice of the A Team van, as far as we were concerned it was a logical choice, large enough to carry everyone in comfort to and from the church, sense however, held out. Even so we felt that a car like the DeLorean from Back to the Future could be the ideal choice, while it would not ensure time travel it would certainly fit in with the proposed themed wedding.

At this point however we were kidding ourselves, there was no way that we would be able to hire any of these more outlandish car choices. The bride to be, even if she has delegated the decision to the groom still holds ultimate sway and hence, if we were to choose anything it would have to be a classic and elegant car hire choice.
