[V17]Vacation Resorts All Inclusive
by Geraldine Dimarco, Ger
A favorite destination for many people is Orlando, Florida, with its many theme parks, it has become 'the' place to visit but there is much more to a having a vacation in Orlando than Orlando vacation resorts. In fact, Orlando has such a diversity of attractions that many travel books have been written just about this one location alone. Everything a visitor could possibly want is here and the reason why people return year after year.

If you enjoy shopping then you will love Orlando, quite apart from the Orlando vacation resorts. Orlando has plenty of malls and stores like Outdoor World which is so large it contains a 17,000 gallon aquarium and you could spend all day there. Of course this article can only brush the surface of what you can see and do on an Orlando vacation but there is so much more than just theme parks that it would be a shame not to mention them.

If you are an animal lover then you must visit the Central Florida Zoological Park in Sanford which was opened to the public in 1975 and houses a collection of over 400 hundred animals. The Central Florida Zoological Park and Botanical Gardens is dedicated to preserving the beauty and wonder of animals including their habitats.

For anyone that appreciates the work of Louis Comfort Tiffany then a large collection of his works is exhibited the Museum of American Art, where it has been housed since the early 1940's. The collection is the most comprehensive anywhere with Tiffany jewelry, art glass, ornaments, pottery, paintings and leaded glass.

Surprisingly, Orlando is not just about fun for the children because adults are very well catered for in this entertainment town. For the young at heart, Orlando vacations aim to please with extensive evening venues including music and dance at Disney's incredible Pleasure Island and Universals version, City walk, to name just a couple of places.

Another popular attraction is the Orlando Science Center and is in fact one of the largest buildings of its type allowing the visitor access to ten huge exhibition halls. The International Trolley and Train Museum has fourteen trains running simultaneously in mountains, wilderness and urban areas; including three waterfalls that use 12,000 gallons of water per hour.

For something a little different there's the Titanic Exhibition which tells the story of the ill fated Ocean Liner performed by a character from the ship; the displays contain some original salvaged items and at times the tour is very moving. Away from all the hustle is the wonderful Lake Eola Park in the heart of downtown - it has beautiful sidewalks in over forty acres where it is possible to spend a few peaceful hours during your vacation in Orlando.

Now you couldn't possibly vacation in Orlando without a trip to the numerous theme parks including Disney World, Universal Studios and of course not to forget the fantastic Seaworld. Orlando vacations have everything so you won't be short of things to do. In fact you may need a week off to recover in a resort that never shuts and has good weather all year round.

No matter how you want to spend your vacation, there is sure to be vacation resorts nearby that can please all the members of your family. Regardless of how many members your family has, most resorts have activities and entertainment events that appeal to just about everyone of every age group. Finding the right vacation resorts for your interests can make the difference between a good vacation and a great vacation.

Finding the right place to match your interests can be a challenge but with internet sites available for virtually every location available, you can research the location and surrounding areas to insure it can meet the family's needs. No matter the type of vacation you are interested in, vacation resorts can satisfy your needs. Whether you are seeking adventure and excitement or relaxation and solitude, there are vacation resorts that can deliver.

Many prefer spending their vacation lying in the sun and swimming in the ocean on either coast of the United States or in some exotic far off place such as the Caribbean or the Bahamas. Others look at vacation resorts overseas to enjoy time in a foreign land to learn about its culture and customs. No matter where you look to spend your time, vacation resorts can be found to add enjoyment to your time away from the real world.

Many national theme parks have their own vacation resorts allowing families to stay for one night, several weeks or any length of time in between. Your budget will be the determining factor in where you stay and for how long. Many amenities can make you feel like VIPs, regardless of how many nights you stay and at what cost.

The advantage of vacation resorts that cater to families is the activities available for children of all ages. Most plan activities that can be enjoyed by children of all ages as well as activities allowing the parents to spend some part of a day or two alone while the children go off under supervised care of professionals. Having your children in capable hands can make that part of your vacation even more relaxing and enjoyable.

To most, planning family style vacations is preferable to the adults taking off on a trip leaving the children at home with another relative. Children also feel left out, knowing their parents are off having a good time while they are stuck at home doing the same boring things they do every day.

That is a good thing about family vacation resorts. They can include the entire family, so no one gets bored while they are expected to have fun, enjoy the time away from home and made to feel important by the staff.
