[W243]Wedding Accessories For Hair

Wedding veils
Would a wedding be complete without a wedding veil? Of course you've probably seen weddings where brides where gowns without veils but it sure don't look much like a wedding. A wedding veil, along with the ring and cord, is one wedding accessory that symbolizes the wedding itself. In picking out a wedding veil make sure that it will suit your wedding gown and the theme of your wedding. Traditional veils are very formal and usually measure around three and a half yards long. Veils nowadays come in various lengths. There is even a shoulder length flyaway type that is preferred by many modern brides.

Shoes & stockings
Shoes and stockings are a crucial element to your overall look on your wedding day. All girls know how difficult it is to find a shoe that will complement attire. What more if you are trying to look for a pair that would match your wedding gown. Try to look for shoes made of velvet, satin and silk as these materials provide a formal and delicate touch to any event. You can also choose shoes with embellishment like beads, sequins, pearls or crystals. Just make sure that the shoes you will buy is comfortable on your feet because you will ear them on probably the most important event of your life.

Jewelry
Aside from the wedding band and wedding ring, you should also take time to consider the other jewelry you will ear like necklace, earrings and bracelet. Jewelry should always compliment a dress and not be the star of the evening. So make sure that the jewelry you will wear would be noticeable enough to get attention but not too loud as to over shadow your wedding gown. Consider wearing family heirlooms because they are proven to be an ideal wedding accessory. Of course, diamonds and pearls would also be very nice.

Headpieces
Headpieces such as combs, headbands, back pieces and Juliet caps are generally used to hold the wedding veil in place. Often, headpieces are decorated with beads, pearls, crystals or flowers to make them look attractive. It seems like a small detail but a headpiece can spell the difference between a boring wedding attire and an exciting one. Actually, a beautiful headpiece can even replace a veil altogether. Examples of headpieces that can stand alone are tiaras, crowns, half-crowns, wreaths and bun wraps.

Gloves
Gloves make great accessories especially if you are wearing a strapless or sleeveless gown. The general rule is that the shorter the sleeve the longer the glove should be. Gloves simply provide an air of sophistication to any outfit.

Handbags
Of course you shouldn't be carrying a bag with you during the wedding ceremony or even during the reception. But still it would be nice to have a small purse where all the things you will need, particularly make up for touch ups, would be contained. It doesn't have to be a big shoulder bag. Clutches will work just fine.

As they say, God is in the details. And in wedding the little details provided by wedding accessories can make all the difference. That's is why it is very important to give as much attention to the wedding accessories you will wear or carry on your wedding day as you would to your wedding gown.

- Wedding gown. Throughout the year, you can catch sales for wedding gowns and it is never too early to start. While you're at it, try looking for a veil, headpiece and even gloves to match the gown preferably at the same store so that you can ask for a better deal.

- Bridal bouquet. When you choose a bouquet to carry to the altar, make sure you choose the type of flower that suits your dress as well as your over all look and style. You should also go for the type of flowers available in season you plan to be married because, if you request for flowers that are not in season, the bouquet will be quite pricey and frankly, it's just not worth it.

- Jewelry. Jewelry will complete your look but beware of wearing too much. You can wear your own jewelry for maybe it has been passed down in your family forever or a borrowed designer jewelry. Whatever it is, be sure that the jewels don't steal the limelight.

- Bridal shoes. You can look stunning in a great looking pair of shoes but if it's going to cause you pain all through your ceremony then you're better off wearing something else.

- Entourage accessories. You must look stunning but those accompanying you should look good too. Your groom, bridesmaids, Maid-of-Honor, groomsmen and Best Man should be wearing the right accessories. Even your parents should not be left out.

There are of course more items that can be added to the list but the ones mentioned are the ones deemed most important and should be taken careful considerations. Other wedding decorations accessories that will make the list can be taken care of but will not be top priority.

Listed below are more items that should make your priority list:

- Wedding invitations – to save yourself the hassle and costs, invite the same people to both the ceremony and reception so you can just send one invite per guest. If it is totally unavoidable, then divide your guest list into sections – guests to be invited to both, guests for ONLY the ceremony and guests to be invited ONLY for the reception. The first category should be the list with the most names.

- Wedding guestbook – You should be using the same book for both reception and ceremony. This will limit the rush for guests to sign during the ceremony as they can still do so during reception.

- Wedding album and photographer – these two are must-haves at the wedding so you will have a happy record of the day. Make sure your photographer is reliable and always remember to scrutinize his portfolio before you hire him. The best wedding photographers are always those that come on recommendation so be sure to consult your own connections first before hiring a total stranger.

- Wedding tableware. You need to make an effort for the wedding tables as well. Special wedding tableware should grace the tables at reception or at least the main wedding table. These are toasting flutes or glasses, napkins, place card holders, silverware which should include items like forks, spoons, knives and cake cutter, china and wedding table decorations.

- Wedding favors. As souvenirs to your guests, they reflect you and your spouse's personalities and lifestyle.

- General wedding décor. Whether it is flowers, candles or lace, nothing spells out a wedding better than its décor. Your wedding decorations do not have to be extravagant affairs; sometimes, less IS more and can a bigger impact.

The less important wedding accessories are the ring bearer pillows, flower girl baskets and wedding pens. You can still do without them but if you must have them you should not be spending too much time searching for the best looking ones. For instance, a satin cover can be used to cover an existing pillow to make it become the ring bearer pillow. The flower basket can also be any basket decorated with ribbons and bows.

You can make your wedding accessories and décor according to your liking. Even if you hire professionals to handle them, you should be truly satisfied with the end result. Remember that the most inexpensive wedding can still be the most beautiful wedding.
