The four frameless doors give the Passat CC an extremely elegant look. The typical coup? lines not only look dynamic but also have another significant advantage: there is not a single surface where the wind can gain a hold. Below the window line there is a further stylish design element in the form of a muscular and pronounced shoulder line, known as the tornado line.

Inner values
All the details in the interior are elegantly coordinated. Fine inlays in "Chrome" serve as a linking element, as do the optional trim inserts in "Brushed Aluminium". There is also a selection of high-quality interior trim packages in real wood, such as "Walnut" and "Vavona", which are particularly effective in the pleasant ambient lighting. Everything, however, contributes to a single outcome: dynamic elegance.

Individualising elements
With their visual effect, wheels give a touch of individuality to the design. The dynamic design of the optional "Interlagos" alloy wheels has a particularly refined effect. It positively invites the light to play on the surfaces of the rim. The effects vary depending on the material chosen below the sportily flared wheel arches: the alloy wheels (8 J x 18, 235/40 R 18 tyres) are available in Sterling Silver or with a highly polished surface.

Comprehensive comfort
They particularly come into their own on long trips: the comfortable front sports seats provide plenty of support with their prominent side sections, and not just when cornering. The controllable adjustment of the backrest and the seat can be precisely adjusted in length, height and angle to meet your personal requirements. Aesthetic expectations on the other hand are satisfied by the seat upholstery: the fine "Silversprint" pattern is available in Titanium Black or in Corn Silk Beige/Titanium Black.

You have reached your destination
The "RNS 510" radio navigation system offers convenient route guidance. With its generously proportioned 30 GB hard disk for saving navigation data or for your own music collection in MP3 or WMA format, it shows you the way to your destination via the touchscreen, both audibly and visually on the multi-colour, high-resolution TFT display. And until you reach your destination, your passengers can watch DVDs in ideal picture quality or listen to CDs in optimum sound quality.

Feel-good innovations
The Passat CC is equipped with groundbreaking driver assistance systems to make every journey a pleasure. They include the innovative "Lane Assist" function and DCC adaptive chassis control. Other systems are no less progressive or convenient: the "Park Assist" parallel parking system, the "Rear Assist" rearview camera and the radar-based ACC adaptive cruise control with the "Front Assist" area monitoring system.

Powerful driving force
Dynamic design needs dynamic engines. No problem for the Passat CC: the entry-level engine option serves up a powerful TSI petrol engine delivering 118 kW (160 hp); and there is also a 147 kW TSI petrol engine (200 hp) and a 103 kW (140 hp) TDI engine on offer, which is based on common rail technology. If you are someone who likes to take things to the limit you will be delighted by the powerful and agile V6, delivering 220 kW (300 hp). This top-of-the-range engine option is available with 4MOTION and DSG dual-clutch transmission for extra driving fun. Distinct advantage
The "Rear Assist" rearview camera is concealed in the pivoting Volkswagen badge on the rear; it extends automatically when needed and displays the area behind the vehicle on the radio or navigation screen, using a wide-angle lens. Additionally superimposed lines indicate the ideal steering angle for parking, while the driver can quite simply look ahead. This function is supplemented by the "Optical Parking System".
