After graduating, Daly went on to work for various I.T. companies such as Oracle Canada at their Mississuaga location before resigning to start working on his own projects.

He founded the in October, 2004 as a small business with just 5 employees working on simple projects such as database management and creation. Daly had a fascination with the financial world and studied various courses and became quite an aggressive Forex trader. It became his ambition to work on software which could be applied to the Industries he traded in. The concept behind this was to make trading so simple that anybody could do it as the software would take out all the hard work. He began taking on more and more employees to help build the software he envisioned. In order to sustain the businesses expenses he had to take out a loan from the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and remortgage his own home.

He finally completed his first version of financial software in late 2005, which became an overnight success once the floodgates were opened to the Canadian and US public. They came in their droves to purchase and the revenue for the Draven group began to accelerate and the Company grew quickly!
