[Y3]Yard Sale Hidden Treasures Game
by Jonathan Benjem, Jon
At the outset, let me share a secret that very few people in the world know (and if they know, they don't acknowledge it!). All the human beings have a huge reservoir of energy, large enough to make sure that our physical and mental health always remains upbeat. This secret is a commonplace among large Hindu and Buddhist population in India and other parts of the world, for most Americans and Europeans, this is an invaluable piece of information, which they'd like to explore further.

This reservoir of energy is known as 'Chakra Energy'. Chakras are the energy centers located in the upper half of the body. Though, there are thousands of Chakras in the entire human body, but primarily, there are just seven Chakras that dominate the overall health of the body. These are:

* Root Chakra (RED) situated at the base of the spine.

* Sacral Chakra (ORANGE) located in the lower abdomen.

* Solar Plexus Chakra (YELLOW) located in the stomach area.

* Throat Chakra (BLUE) located in the throat region.

* Throat Chakra (BLUE) located at the base of the throat.

* Brow Chakra (INDIGO) situated on the forehead.

* Crown Chakra (VIOLET) located on top of the head.

The uninterrupted movement of these Chakras produces the Chakra Energy. It is this energy, which is decisive in determining whether you enjoy a healthy physical and mental body.

The movement of the Chakras has to be harmonious in order to produce the desired effect. Naturally, the movement of Chakra is in sync, but imbalance can occur due to several physical or emotional pressures. The remedy is simply to work towards the achievement of Chakra Balance through physical and metaphysical means.

So, what's exactly Chakra Energy and how it influences our physical and mental well being? The Chakra System in our body is primarily responsible for the smooth functioning of every organ. As every bodily organ is connected with the brain through a complex web of nerves, the Chakras rotate to provide the necessary energy for all the nerves and organs so that they perform their natural functions in an unhindered manner. They not only rotate, but also the movement of their rotation is so synchronized that they complement each other in a unique way.

If the movement is in sync, the Chakras will produce sufficient energy to ensure physical and mental well being. However, if the movement is not in sync, the energy so produced will not be sufficient and it'll invariably result in some body ailment.

The next question that arises in our quest for knowing more about Chakra Energy is how easy or difficult it is to achieve a balance in the movement of these Chakras? With practice, perseverance, and belief, nothing remains difficult forever. Undoubtedly, it is not a 'learn overnight' process, but the modus operandi is pretty simple. All it involves is to sit in a convenient body posture, and relax and feel every body part - from the visible organs to the minutest cell within. Early on, you'll feel several distractions, like body pain, wavering thoughts, diverse emotions etc., but if you stick with the routine and perform this exercise at least half an hour daily, the results will be positive.

You may ask if achieving physical and emotional well being is so simple, then why are the incidents of such ailments on the rise? The answer is pretty obvious. The advancements in the modern day living have translated into our increasing reliance on the materialistic things. In the worldly pursuits, man has slowly but surely lost contact with the spiritual aspect of his existence. This myopic mindset has robbed humans of their earthiness.

Chakra Energy is always at your disposal. All you need is to just follow the exercise religiously. The positive results will entail naturally. Remember, Chakra balancing is the only short cut towards attaining the optimum Chakra Energy required by the body.

Small by Western city-standards, this makes for a luxury Asian holiday destination that is small enough to feel cozy, but large enough to fulfill all the necessities, with an extensive array of shops and facilities. Surabaya is not a tourism-focused city, so if you are wandering off the beaten tourist path to this gorgeous seaside city, we have prepared a guide to Surabaya's best hotels and activities.

The first thing you will want to do in Surabaya is drop all of your luggage somewhere, of course. Like many other South East Asian destinations, Surabaya offers the opportunity for untold luxury at extremely reasonable Western prices - less than half what you would expect to pay in an Australian hotel for the same beautiful luxury, and less than a third what you would pay in London or New York.

One hotel in Surabaya that is conveniently located to both beach and airport is the Mandarin Oriental luxury hotel in Surabaya. It has graceful colonial architecture and beautiful gardens, and is located in the heart of the city. Five minutes away from the biggest shopping malls, historic sites and monuments is this elegant fived star oasis. Enjoy hot buffet breakfasts every morning even with standard rooms, and enjoy the ever-willing-to-help staff.

The Sheraton is a well-known name in hotels the world over, and of the chain's luxury Asian resorts, this hotel in Surabaya captures the simple quality and luxury of the brand best. The Indonesian Art Deco decor is absolutely unique, and the location is fabulous. The Surabayan hotel is in close proximity to Tunjungan Plaza, the Chinese quarter, and many of the city's other famous sights. In room massages mean that you don't even have to make the effort to go to a hotel spa to enjoy ultimate relaxation, and if you like to have a reason for those sore muscles, a jogging track sets this Surabayan hotel's fitness facilities apart from the rest.

Shangri-La Surabaya brings the famous Shangri-La service and unfettered quality to this gorgeous Indonesian city. The decor is described as one of subdued elegance, and it is certainly refreshingly. Simple designs in the highest quality luxury materials make you feel a million dollars, without an overcrowded atmosphere. Relax in international style, with signature bed linens, a deep soaking tub and extensive pillow menu in Shangri-La Surabaya suites.

Once you have refreshed a little from the plane flight, the Surabay Zoo is only a short walk from the city centre, and is one of South East Asia's largest and best. If you are interested in traditional Indonesian culture, check out Grahadi, the residence of the governor of East Java during the colonial era. Reog danced is often on display here, a vigorous traditional dance, and you can also see what life was like during Indonesia's long colonial history. Balai Pemuda is another great place to soak up the very essence of Indonesia; this art center in the center of Surabaya is close to Coty Hall. They have performances as well as static art, and in June the Festival Seni Surabaya makes for some spectacular sights on your luxury Asian vacation.
