As other medications, these drugs help the body by reducing inflammation but on the other hand they have severe side effects as cancer, anemia, low white blood cells count. Moreover, Chloroquine or Hydroxychloroquine are usually used in lupus treatments for skin and joint affections caused by lupus causing in many cases rashes and eye problems.
