Submitting to search engines - Personally I have never submitted my domains to search engines. Why you might ask? Well through experience I have learned that if you link to someone that is already in the search engines you will be included the next time that their site is crawled. So often I just place a link on one of my more established sites and within in days I have a listing in the various search engines. Now if you donâ??t have a site to link to you may consider search engine submission, but be careful as too many submissions can get you banned or ignored by the search engines.

Get Listed - Getting listed in the search engines is a very intricate part of your business so be patient and before long you will be listed. Don't make the mistake that I did a few years back. I aggressively promoted two domains that were getting traffic mostly from page exchange sites. As a result of my up front work with promoting my domains, they now were getting search engine traffic! As I researched, I found programs that are capable of monitoring expired domains and also assess traffic. Some clever internet marketer had found my domains, saw the potential and registered my domain names. I performed a link popularity check on each site and I was blown away; over 2000 links pointing to each domain. Now someone else is enjoying the fruits of my labor. This savvy internet marketer has set up an information page and serves Google ads on both domains. Don't let this happen to you. Start your journey understanding that it is not going to be an instant success. It takes hard work and determination to make this work.
