Keeping an organized house is not a simple thing, for most of us there is no outside help we can relay on, there are no cleaning ladies that will sweep the rooms every day and place everything in place, and even if there were I am not sure they will know where to place everything. The sad reality of keeping an organized place is that this needs to be done on a regular basis, every few days or weeks, everyone is different in the time they are willing to dedicate to home organization.

Organization may not be fun to do, but it is extremely good for a lot of reasons, it saves time looking for things, it is nicer to live in an organized environment and it keeps us from losing things that probably mean something to us. Organizing your home is sometimes a very difficult task, especially difficult if it has not been done for a long while, you will need to invest a lot of time into making a first, general and very thorough cleanup and organization and then start to regularly organize your living space from time to time, but the initial effort is the one that is usually the hardest.

To make things easier and simpler you should think about organizing room by room, creating piles of things that are similar, if these things have to be in one specific room or belong to a certain family member you an pile them in one corner and move on to organize other things, once you are done with the room you will have a few piles of things that have to move to a different room or forwarded to the respective family member for him to organize and place in the right and proper place.

In some cases you will have to evaluate the work and create some kind of buffers that will allow you to get to your targets, if you are dealing with a bug house and a lot of things to organize, you may have to think about just clearing a few rooms and leaving others for another time, if you need to organize all the rooms maybe you can make one room a storage space and use it to hold the different piles you will not have the time or the energy to deal with.

As with all other things, organizing your home is a task you will have to plan and then execute properly, if you make your plans realistic and start working on the room systematically there is no reason you will not have a better organized living space in a matter of days.
