Doba Review - Internet Dropshipper Fails To Deliver
by Ryan Moran, Rya
Doba.com, the internet's best selling drop ship source, makes things extremely easy for the user. Any individual doing a Doba review will find that the company makes it extremely easy for users to find products, compare prices, and put them on eBay. The service even has a feature that gives the user the ability to push a product directly onto eBay, minimizing time and allowing a maximum amount of products to be sold.

However, Doba is extremely misleading in their claims, and they should be avoided at all costs. What about this dropshipper fails to deliver?

Although Doba claims to be a wholesale supplier, they mark up each of their products from the distributor, and they take a cut of each item sold. This is not necessarily an underhanded tactic; however, the products that Doba sells are so marked up that they leave zero margin for profit for the user. As a result, Doba's users list their items on eBay and get zero bids, because one can find the products at cheaper products elsewhere.

Marking up the products would also be acceptable if Doba was a free service. However, this is not the case. Instead, one pays a montly fee to join Doba, and they then overpay for the products.

The most misleading tactic that Doba uses is inflating the MSRP of products. By doing this, Doba's prices look as though they are a steal. However, one will find when performing a Doba review that the prices are extremely high in comparison to both retail stores and eBay. As a result, people expect to be buying at a wholesale price while selling at MSRP, and this rarely, if ever, happens.

Doba also creates review sites, posing as third parties that claim to compare their own product to other dropship companies. Of course, these review sites say that Doba.com is the best on the internet, because the creators of these sites are the same as the creators of Doba.com. In this way, readers believe that they are receiving unbiased information when, in fact, they are reading an advertisement for a misleading company.

Anyone can perform their own Doba review by signing up for a free seven day trial, but Doba makes it slightly difficult to cancel. Cancellation is then followed up by a phone call from the company, and a sales pitch should be expected.

All in all, while Doba is extremely easy to use, it unfortunately does not deliver with the bottom line: allowing users to make a profit.
