It seems that no matter how perfect (or not so perfect) a wedding ceremony is, nothing quite tops the perfect Hawaiian honeymoon. There are so many people who take honeymoon trips to Hawaii that many people may not find it all too intriguing, but keep in mind that people take their honeymoon trips to Hawaii for a reason.

Just stepping off the plane and smelling the tropical flowers in the air is almost enough for any Hawaiian honeymoon. Hawaii has so many places to honeymoon including (Oahu, Maui, Kauai, the Big Island, etc.) and each has it's own unique flavor. But finding some fun activities is never a problem whether it's laying out at the beach, swimming with sharks, hiking the mountains, or flying over Mt. Kilauea you will enjoy your stay in Hawaii.

If you find yourself on one island and wishing for another, just take a quick flight and you're there. You can even fly to another island for the day, have some dinner and come back. Having a Hawaiian honeymoon vacation means there are no rules.

The great part of going to Hawaii on your honeymoon instead of the Caribbean is that you don't need to leave the country and deal with passports and customs but you get the same great weather and fun. In fact, I've been to both and I prefer Hawaii myself.

Getting around Hawaii is not difficult, and many times you won't need to travel more than 5 miles at a time. However, if you're planning to travel the island then rent a car before you arrive in Hawaii and do it for the entire trip. This will give you access to everything and allow you to explore on your own. Local beaches, luau shows, gardens, history and art museums and all kinds of interesting things await you.

If you are thinking about the perfect Hawaiian honeymoon, keep thinking. There are so many things to choose from when it comes to planning a honeymoon of this sort, but there is nothing more romantic than a Hawaiian honeymoon. It screams tradition and is the perfect follow-up to a traditional American wedding.
