[B951]Build Your Own Home Game
by Kenneth Scott, Ken
Building a house is not as easy it appears to be. It involves a lot of hard work and planning. It is even tougher if you have a tight budget and want to save on the cost of hiring expensive contractors. Contractors can do a fine job but when it comes to individual preferences, it is better to oversee it yourself rather than go for costly changes later on.

Buying old properties with intentions of converting them according to your needs can sometimes prove to be as costly as building a new one because many faults in old buildings and the repairs they would require are hard to evaluate unless you actually get down to it.

The first and foremost on your agenda, after you have selected land to purchase, has necessarily to be your requirements of space and rooms. Needs for space and rooms vary according to your likes and the type of work you do. After all, majority of people build a house only once in a lifetime. A useful discussion with family and a list of individual needs helps in proper mapping of the house.

Building a house involves a variety of works. Foundation work is probably the most arduous job and as long that is not completed the outlines of the house do not seem to appear. Once the foundations have been laid, there is bricklaying, plastering, roofing, plumbing, electric wiring and fitting, and painting.

If cost is a major consideration, try to assess which of the jobs you can do yourself. Make a list of major and minor jobs that you can do yourself and hire workmen only for those that you cannot handle on your own. To save on costs you have to make an effort to pick up the ones that you can do yourself. Maybe you can paint the house, or for that matter do the electric fittings or the plumbing. All types of jobs involved in building work, in their totality, amount to a big item of expense and what ever you do on your own is going to save you hard earned money. For example, the cost of a particular job might be a few cents per square foot, but on multiplying it with the area you will realize that it is runs in to quite a handsome amount.

The best way of supervising construction work and at the same time do some work yourself would be to buy an old caravan, place it on the site, and live in it all the while the construction work is in progress. It would naturally amount to some discomfort but it will be worth the trouble. This way you can even hold work parties and you never know some of your friends might be experts in some building work and lend a hand in the construction work. You can always thank them with a couple of drinks at the local pub.

Are you searching for ways to get prospects to your home business opportunity without spending money on overpriced leads, expensive pay-per-click ads, or other budget busting systems? Then write an article! Writing articles is without a doubt one of the best ways to promote your business online that's available today. And best of all...it's free.

I know what you're thinking right now...hey wait a minute...I'm not a writer. I have no clue on how to write an article about anything. Well, before tossing this idea out the window, let me tell you the truth...it's not that difficult to do. Don't use "I can't" as an excuse to miss out on this proven method to build your business. You want to build your business and make more money don't you? Great! Then do one the things that really work.

You can write an article about anything in the home business industry. It could be something as simple as how to use an auto responder. Or, write about a prospecting technique that has worked. The list can be endless. You could write a review on the home-based business you're currently in. Perhaps you could write an article on how your product will help your customers, etc.

Your article doesn't have to be a novel. Keep the length to 400-600 words. That's about one page. Oh...be sure to run spell check to get any misspellings corrected.

OK...I wrote an article. How is that going to help build my business? Glad you asked. This is where things get better. At the bottom of your article there will be an "authors box" included. This is where you can brag about yourself and write a paragraph about yourself and your business. You will also put in a link to your website. People who read your article can click on your link and check out your site.

That's great, but how do I get my article posted on the Internet for people to see? This is easier than you might think. You basically have two options here. You can post the articles yourself to different article directories. For example: goarticles, and ezinearticles are two large directories you will want to post to. You can find tons of article directories by doing a web search. Or, you can use an article submission service like articlemarketer who will post your articles to hundreds of these different directories and e-zines automatically for you. This is the method I would recommend. It's very simple, and they even have a free submission service.

So...what is the result in submitting articles anyway? Free traffic to your site, and lots of it! People will be reading your articles 24 hours a day and going to your website to learn more about your business opportunity. This can literally go on for months after originally writing your article. As more and more e-zines and directories post your article, the more traffic you will be getting.

Another benefit is that search engines will also index your article under certain keywords that are in your article. This could place you high on various web pages under different keywords. Of course, this will bring even higher amounts of traffic to your site.

If you're not writing articles, you are missing out an incredible free method in building your home-based business. A method that flat out works! I highly recommend you get started doing this today, and take advantage of the benefits it will bring to you in the future.
