by Mohamed Abdul Rauf Bin Mohamed Yusope, Moh
I have learn that most of the time when two individuals are involved in heated argument, anger expression and both parties unwillingness to give in to the situation actually worsen the situation. Through such experiences, we can learn that there are different preventive and effective measures that one can use to deal with such situations.

Let us take a look at the following about Pete dealing with his anger in a heated argument. Pete was getting frustrated with his working partner, John. Pete assumed that John has been dishonest in his work behavior. John, on the other hand, was getting frustrated himself at Pete's cold behavior towards him. Both of them have kept their feelings to themselves. They did not clarify with each other the root of the problem. The anger level reached a boiling point and they started to be involved in a heated argument. How can both of them handle the situation better?

In such intense situation, one of them must take the initiative to walk away from the situation. Such positive action can highly results in reducing the tension between them effectively. One can also realized that walking away from the argument takes huge amount of courage especially in such intense situation.

In anger, involved parties tend not to talk rationally. The situation can get really ugly when both parties start to hurl cruel words and insults to each other. To prevent such situation, one of the effective measures is to focus on communicating with each other after both parties have cooled down and not angry. In this manner, both of them can communicate better and clearly their point of views to each other rather communicating to each other in heated argument.

Both parties should work towards focusing on the solutions for the problems when communicating with each other. In such effective manner of communication, both of them will most likely learn to appreciate and treasure each other better. Thus, here it can result better, effective and healthy working relationships.

Also, when handling to solve such challenge, both parties must make the effort to be humble and be prepared to accept learning from each other mistakes. They must help one another to improve their working and friendship relationship.

With such measures such as communicating better, handling the heated argument better, focusing on the solutions, learning from each other mistakes and helping each other to grow, anger can be better managed to handle such heated argument. It can play a huge role in maintaining better working and friendship relationship between themselves.
