Finding a decent speed test without paying for it can be tough. Most "Freeware" contains spyware or malware that can slow your computer down to a crawl.
There are a few speed tests out there that are actually free. Most, however, tend to give very poor results. Few even work the way they are supposed to work, and some don't work at all making the process of searching and testing each Internet speed test time consuming at best.

If you're like me, I would like to check my connection speed when ever I want to without having to pay just to test it. Raising a family is expensive, so why blow hard earned money for something as simple as an Internet speed test?
Finding a decent speed test can be a quite a chore. Once you find one though you can save it and check your ISP's speed when ever you want. Keeping tabs on your Internet speed may show you when your connection is the fastest as well as the slowest. Allowing you the freedom to choose when to use your service to its fullest potential.
