Importing and exporting cars is a very lucrative business but it needs a good amount of money and huge searching capabilities. The first thing that you need to do, as a car importer and exporter, is to locate your origin and target market. Here, the origin market is the British market where lots of used cars are dumped while they are still running and in good condition. The target market would be any country that could accept these used cars and of course should be using the right hand side driving. If you managed to export your British cars to a European country then it will seem like it is running on the wrong side of the road as all the European countries and the United States are using the left side driving cars.
Africa would constitute a promising target market as there are some of these countries like South Africa who is using right hand sided cars. So, you need to locate a British car wholesaler that is offering good prices for his bulk sales then you can contact the authorities in the target countries and try to export these cars from England to the target country. The custom authorities will tell you what you need to pay for these cars then you will be able to sell them to individuals in that country.
Of course this process would consume a long period of time but once you did it you will be able to generate a lot of profit. As these cars are sold with very good prices in these countries even though they are used and pre owned cars.
The only rival to this trade is the new Chinese cars as they are sold new for cheap prices and they are also right hand sided and this gives them an advantage over the British cars but the British cars still has a very long history of liability and sturdiness so they are still sold side by side with Chinese cars.
