[T1167]Top Things To Do In Thailand
by Stuart Cheese, Stu
In my capacity as the UK Director of Operations for One World Tours Limited, I am often asked about unusual destinations and there is not a more unusual destination than Bhutan. That said, it is a place of outstanding natural beauty and a place that remains uncontaminated by the rest of the world due to heavy regulations by the Government. Here then, are my top suggestions for sites to take in during your holiday in Bhutan.

1. I would recommend that a trip to the capital of Bhutan, Thimpu is a journey not to miss. It is said that Thimpu is the most unique capital city in the world. When you visit you will quickly understand why as it is a place of stunning natural beauty, untouched by humankind. You are greeted with the amazing Himalayas which help to create the blissful ambience of Bhutan.

There are a few traditional buildings such as monasteries like Phajoding which overlooks the whole town at a breathtaking 10,000 feet and Tangu Cherry which is a few hundred years old and an important landmark.

Museums, include The National Folk Heritage Museum, Textile Museum which displays It also exhibits colourful and rare traditional Bhutanese dress (kiras for women and ghos for men). There is also a small museum on the grounds of The National Institute of traditional Medicine.

A stunning pink roofed fortress known as Tashichhodzong stands before the SAARC building. The fortress was reconstructed in the early 60's after a fire destroyed the original that was built in the 1600's.

Dechencholing is the Royal Palace and a place where you may only take photographs from outside.

2. Paro is a small township which houses the only airport in Bhutan and is the gateway to the kingdom for most tourists. That said there are many easily accessible places of interest in the area. The most interesting place is Paro Dzong which overlooks the beautiful valley. Perhaps some of you will recognise it if you have seen the film "The Little Buddha" as it was featured there. Standing before the beautiful structure you would never guess that earthquakes and fires have been responsible for destroying it many times since the 1600's.

Also an experience to behold is the Buddhist festival which can last 3-5 days. These festivals are held to ward off evil spirits with colourful costumes, elaborate music, dances and plays, a truly unforgettable experience.

Whether or not you are a spiritual or religious person you will not be able to escape the peace and tranquillity of this magically beautiful place.

3. Takshang Lhakang, also known as the Tigers nest because of it's stunning location, is the most sacred monastery in Bhutan. The monastery is perched upon a rocky ledge with a sheer drop of almost 2, 400 feet. When you see how big the path up to it is, the mind boggles as to how all the necessary materials were taken up there to build the magnificent structure. You have the choice of hiking or taking a pony up definitely worth the effort if you have taken the time to travel to this forgotten part of the world.

Once you have applied the proper strategies in getting your opt-in list, you now have the power to send emails to your subscribers – but remember you do not want to keep on spamming your subscribers or else, you may have problems with your internet provider, ISP and most especially with the law. If you are not yet sure, there are different internet laws and rules that the internet world had applied. There are some people who send and sell their materials through spam/junk mail.

However, your email marketing campaign is a good thing since people subscribe to your list, and they give your company consent to send them newsletters and promotional materials. Just remember that we still should respect their rights and do not send irrelevant electronic mails through their inbox.

Make sure that you know how to protect yourself and your email marketing campaign from trouble most especially you do not want to mess up with the law. Remember that you are a professional marketing specialist and you want to maintain that professionalism. You would not want your name to be ruined because you messed up with your email marketing campaign right?

These are the things that you should keep in mind and avoid with your email marketing campaign. Take note of all these three things to save you and your business.

1. Check all the emails that was not successfully sent or what we call bounced emails. For some unknown reasons, some of these messages were not delivered to the recipient.

Sometimes, a bounce would happen if the intended recipient's inbox is full, invalid email address or if the server is busy. Mark those messages that bounce so that you can send it to that particular recipient without sending it again to your whole list.

2. Since you have given your subscribers an option to subscribe to your list, you should also provide them an unsubscribe option, preferably at the end of each mail. Make sure that when someone opts to unsubscribe from your email marketing list, then you should respect that person and immediately remove him/her from your list.
Once that a person chose to unsubscribe to your list and if they have been receiving your email marketing promotions, then it is already considered as a spam. The tendency is you might lose one subscriber after another, or even all of them.

3. Never provide explicit content along with your email marketing content. This might just cause your promotional mail or email to be considered and marked as spam. Make sure that you promote only the nature of your business.

Keeping these tips in mind will greatly increase and provide you and your subscriber a healthy relationship. It is great that you chose to advertise using an email marketing campaign, and you would like to keep it that way without having your subscribers annoyed.
