[T1234]Training Dog With Shock Collar
by Vikram Kumar, Vik
Have you ever encountered problems training your dog? Almost every dog owner will answer yes to such a question. This is because, despite being man's best friend, dogs are still animals, and need to be trained in order to fit properly into our lives. Without training, dogs tend to make a nuisance of themselves, doing things that may seem acceptable in the animal world but are unacceptable to us.

A good example would be training your dog to stay away from the rubbish bin. Dogs are naturally curious animals, and they often find their way into the rubbish, more often than not upsetting it all over your clean floor. It can be very hard to train your dog to stay away from the rubbish bin, as you need to correct them while they are in the middle of the act or immediately after. Too often, however, by the time you reach the scene of the crime, it is already too late.

With dog training collars, however, you will be able to train your dog even from a distance. This means you no longer need to run and chase after your dog in order to correct them for some misdeed. Instead, dog owners simply need to attach dog training collars to their dogs. These dog training collars have inbuilt devices that spray a citrus spray or cold spray in the direction of a dog's nose. Dogs have sensitive noses, and will find such sprays harmless but quite annoying.

Dog training collars also include a remote to allow them to be activated from a distance. With these dog training collars, you will be able to give your dog the required correction even if you are not nearby. For example, if you glance through the window from the outside and notice your dog going through the rubbish again, you simply need to press the button on the remote, and a spray will issue from your dog's collar. Dog training collars allow dog owners to administer correction directly and in a timely manner.

After a few more experiences being sprayed whenever it decides to go through the rubbish, your dog will soon learn that it is not supposed to be doing that. It will come to associate going through the rubbish with a physical annoyance, and thereafter will avoid that act.

A great many dog owners are sure to find dog training collars an extremely useful training aid. An added benefit is that your dog will not associate you with the correction, and thus your relationship with your dog will not be damaged.

The major intention of the electronic collar is to stop a dog from barking. There are two major ways this is resolved. In the first way, sensors in the collar can tell when the dog is barking, and when the dog barks, the collar give out a high frequency sound that only dogs can hear, and the dog will stop barking directly. The other collar type has a remote that the owner directs at the collar and with the push of a button gives the dog the unpleasant feeling.

Of course dogs bark. However, how intensely they bark is dependant on what type of breed they are. For example, there are some larger dog breeds that bark less than smaller dog breeds. So, for those dog owners who cannot stand incessant barking, they get an electronic collar.

Electronic collars could be used during the training process, as long as they are no longer used once the dog training is over. If you would like to get an electronic collar, visit your local pet supply store or surf the Internet.

For the other kind of electronic collar, an electronic fence has to be built in your lawn. There are self install packages available, but you should hire an experienced person to build it if you do not have the experience yourself.

Electronic fences are invisible fences that keeps a dog from leaving the property. They have the benefit of being invisible for people that dont like fences. When a dog wears an electronic collar and goes too close to the perimeters of the fence, the dog is met by a shock.

As you now know what an electronic dog collar is and how to use it, you need to decide what collar is the right for the dog. There are several different designs so finding the best one for your dog is not an easy task.

When buying a collar for your dog, there are numeous different factors that you should think of, and one of the most paramount things to consider is the price tag. You want to remember the fact that the collar might get lost or broken, so the best idea is not to spend too much on one collar.
