[T1312]Treatment For Separation Anxiety
by Rebecca235 Armstrong235, Reb
Hypnosis is an effective treatment for anxiety that produces lasting results. In order to understand how hypnosis works in the treatment of anxiety it is important to understand a little about brainwaves. There are four brainwaves and each have their own distinctive pattern and benefit. An easy way to understand how they function is to think of each brainwave like a gear of a car. Beta is the highest gear (13-40 cycles per second), then there is Alpha (8-13 cycles per second), then Theta (4-7 cycles per second) and the lowest gear, Delta (0-4 cycles per second).
We have found that people often skip the Theta and Alpha brainwave and exist primarily in Beta and Delta brainwave patterns. People often remain in the high gear of Beta throughout the day, revving themselves on high throughout their day until night comes when they move into the lowest gear of Delta or sleep. The rapid and intense shift from Beta to Delta to Beta again can take its toll. Just imagine shifting your car from fourth gear to first to fourth to first over and over again.
People who spend more time in Alpha and Theta states have been shown to feel and experience significantly less stress and anxiety. Alpha states may also improve the resilience of your immune system and are directly correlated to peak performance. So if the Alpha, Alpha-Theta and Theta brainwaves hold so much benefit, how do we go about increasing them?
The production of Alpha and Theta brainwaves is a natural function of our minds. The decrease of these brainwaves has been associated with our cultures current stressful lifestyle.
One effective tool for increasing Alpha and Theta brainwaves is hypnosis. Hypnosis states have been clinically shown to create an Alpha, Alpha-Theta, or Theta brainwave pattern. The natural result of the Alpha and Theta states created by hypnosis are a significant reduction or elimination in stress and anxiety, a stronger immune system, and increased peak performance. People also show a more rapid healing pattern in these brainwave patterns as well.
In addition to these amazing anxiety healing results, hypnosis allows you to change limiting beliefs, anxiety producing habits and patterns, remove blocks, increase and develop healthy coping mechanisms, strengthen and develop self-esteem, and build the life skills that allow you to live a life feeling safe, secure, and in control.
Who can experience a hypnosis state? Most anyone can achieve and experience a hypnosis state. The average person goes in and out of a hypnosis state naturally on their own five times everyday. These are times when you find yourself daydreaming, lost in thought, reading, watching TV, driving into your driveway and not remembering turning down your street, and being intensely focused on a project and not noticing that time has flown by.
The key is to find a anxiety hypnosis program that not only guides you in healing your anxiety, but also offers you self-hypnosis training so you can build your tools around increasing your Alpha and Theta Brainwaves. Once you learn the skill of self-hypnosis, you have a lifelong tool that allows you to expand and deepen the benefits of the Alpha and Theta brainwaves. As a result you will feel more relaxed, at ease and in control. You will have a stronger immune system and function in peak performance.

Appendicitis is the inflammation of the appendix. The symptoms are pain in the belly button area which in the end will move in the right side of the lower abdomen and will be much worse, low graded fever, nauseas and sometimes even vomiting, loss of appetite and constipation or diarrhea. Some people might not have all these symptoms and some might not have any of them, but still have appendicitis.

Appendicitis can be often mistaken with other affections like gastroenteritis, but it seems that in appendicitis the nausea and vomiting begin after the abdominal pain had installed.

Small children are the hardest patients to diagnose because in their case appendicitis does not manifest so clear like in adult patient. Sometimes they complain of a hip pain or they refuse to walk. After a while vomiting will appear.

If you have any of the mentioned symptoms you should call the doctor and if the last for more than four hours you should go to the emergency room.

Some tests will be done to see if you have appendicitis or not. A white blood cell count will be performed along with a urine test to exclude a urinary infection. Even abdominal CT or ultrasound can be performed by the doctor if he has doubts about your appendicitis.

If you are at home and you suspect that someone in your family has appendicitis do dot give him food or water in order to avoid complications and not to make surgery more difficult. Also, painkillers, antibiotic drugs and laxatives are prohibited.

Surgery is necessary because there is no other treatment for appendicitis. It will be performed an appendectomy for removing the inflamed appendix. Before that, intravenous fluids will be administered to keep you well hydrated and no oral intake of food and water is allowed because this could interfere with the anesthesia and surgery.

Complications can occur if appendicitis is left untreated. The perforation of the wall is one of them, leading to a local abscess and even peritonitis which is dangerous because the entire lower abdomen will get infected. Therefore surgery must be done as soon as possible.

Another complication is the blockage of the intestine caused by the intense inflammation which stops the intestinal muscle from working and so the intestinal contents will not move anymore.

If everything goes well you will be able to go back to you activities in a few days but no physical activity is allowed to be done for 3 to 4 weeks
