CBS with it's reality series Big Brother has carried out its promise to entertain its viewers with big changes and surprises for its upcoming season. Last night, Allison Grodner announced that these changes won't be just alterations on the show's current format, on the contrary, the major change will come in the form of an uncensored, nightly three hour spin off.

Big Brother will be aired on CBS three nights a week, during Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The new addition will be aired on sister network ShoToo, an offshoot of Showtime, nightly in the form of a three hour live broadcast from the Big Brother house. Most cable packages that carry ShowTime also carry ShoToo.

The spin off was entitled "Big Brother: After Dark" and will air from 9PM PT/12AM ET to 12AM PT/3AM ET.

The new executive producer, which happens to be Allison Grodner, said, "That's primetime for the 'Big Brother' house. It's when our houseguests are most wide awake and having fun, talking about strategy and playing the game. People are going to see quite a bit."

The show is completely uncensored, thus profanity and nudity may be shown, however, the show will still be blacked out when housemates sing copyright infringed songs. CBS has stuck to their decision on this. They've also compared Big Brother with the European version and have learned that the uncensored parts are quite critical to the show's success.

CBS also announced that the premiere date for Big Brother will by on July 5th, which falls on a Thursday, thus Big Brother will lead into Pirate Master on that night. It will also be the last time for Pirate Master to air on a Thursday, as it will permanently move to Tuesday nights starting July 10.
