[W758]Why Are There 24 Hours In A Day
by Darren Krause, Dar

What? What do you mean work at home for 24-hours a day? You can't possibly do that! You barely have enough time to get your regular job done, and then spend a few moments maintaining your fledgling business - and still have a few spare moments for family and friends. It sometimes seems like you have bit off more than you can chew, but I think I might be able to show you how you can work from home 24-hours a day, and not really be working.

It's called passive income. Sure you can work from home and you can put in an 8-hour day, or you can work on one project an hour a day, and have it make you money around the clock. How you ask? Here are three ways you can do it:

1.) Internet sales site - It doesn't matter what you are selling. If there is a market for it, and you have it on the Internet, then all the work from home you have to do is fill orders or make sure that the site is maintained. People all over the world are on the Internet 24-hours a day and that means you have a virtual store that is attracting sales constantly. For just a little bit of time each day, you can easily 'work from home' for 24-hours a day with an Internet sales site.

2.) Downloadable E-book - Find an information niche that needs to be filled and you can make a decent passive income as each book sells! Literally thousands of people have become instant 'authors' with the growth of the e-book industry. You don't have to be Stephen King or Nora Roberts to make a nice side income from an e-book. Yes, this is a work at home business - but all the work you have to do is: find a writer for the book (or write it yourself), build an attractive sales page, and then watch as the sales grow - along with your passive income!

3.) Affiliate Marketing - This is one of the buzz-phrases in work at home projects. This is literally becoming an affiliate store for certain products on the Internet - ranging from major stores like Wal-Mart or Target - to people just like yourself who are trying to build their marketing network.

Affiliate marketing basically works by pointing different web users in the direction they want to go for product - basically a directional sign for the Internet. Once you direct a person to a specific site - if they buy, you collect a percentage of that sale. How easy is that? And they still call it 'work from home'!

So, as you can see, it isn't as difficult to 'work' from home for 24-hours a day as you might have first imagined. It takes a little bit of business sense, and maybe some Internet savvy to get started - but after that, for a few hours of maintenance per week, you can generate income around the clock!

Can you imagine a salesperson pitching your products in hundreds of locations around the world, tirelessly 24 hours a day, 365 days a year? If you can, you are already knowledgeable about a video salesperson, who dwells in your website and describes product benefits and features to customers from around the world who visit your website.

A real person represents your website and the products you have to offer. The action sequence is shot just like an advertisement video shooting, according to the script and a male or female model delivers the message of your product or business. The customers can also receive a good product demonstration by the models. With the concept of a video salesperson, the options are literally endless and are limited only to your imagination.

You can appoint the video salesperson to pitch your products on your website. Since you don't pay the salesperson on an ongoing basis, you can experience a better ROI. You can use the video salesperson to complement or to replace your existing web sales text. It is better to leave the text based sales pitch, as there are still dial-up users in the United States and you can't afford to ignore them.

Dial-up internet connections are not common today. High speed broadband connections have become the norm and you can expect almost every one of your visitors to get a memorable experience of dealing with a video salesperson. The salesperson pitches the message only once, which can be used to attract all of your customers, from all parts of the world.

Setting up the video salesperson doesn't require elaborate programming knowledge or website design skills. Though, rules of good website design still play an important role. You can creatively use the video salesperson to pitch the product and to offer technical support.

Anticipate all of the questions that customers are likely to ask and answer those questions before they are raised. With the right scripting, you can ensure a quick paced sales pitch to inform and to inspire customers to buy from you.

Since it is a real person answering the questions and speaking about the products, the sales pitch looks like a TV ad, except that the customers can choose what they want to see. If they want technical guidance on using the products, they can click the relevant link and find the video that gives them the 'how to' part.

With broadband connectivity becoming cheaper and easily accessible, the importance of a video salesperson is only going to increase. It is still a new technology and not many companies have adopted this, partly due to ignorance and partly due to fear of the costs. Thus, it is the right time for the businesses to take advantage of a video salesperson to easily win over customers and to maximize sales.
