[W316]Weight Loss Food Delivery
by Alberto Martinez Miller, Alb
Oh, the ever popular weight loss food. Most people can feel their stomach turning with just the thought of it. In our experiences with diets, weight loss foods are almost always bland, rarely exciting, and we never truly get enough to eat. No in fact, in most cases, within 20 minutes of a meal, we are still so hungry, we find something else to satisfy our hunger. This of course inhibits our efforts in weight loss.

You see in order to really experience weight loss, we do need to control the foods we eat, but we do not need to starve ourselves. In fact, the best form of weight loss comes in the form of breaking up meals and actually eating more meals each day. Instead of eating three large meals each day, we should be eating several small meals daily, which increases our metabolism and gives our bodies the opportunity to burn off those calories faster.

Eating great weight loss food does not have to mean counting calories either. No, you can eat the foods you like, avoiding some specific things of course such as pizza, French fries, fried foods, breaded foods, heavy salad dressings, too much bread, and the chocolate, cakes, and desserts we tend to eat too much of. You should however stick to diet sodas, delicious baked foods, and lighter dressings such as vinegar based dressings or Italian, which fits perfectly on a salad.

With the proper weight loss food, you do not need to spend all of your hard-earned money on foods that really do not please our taste buds or fill up our tummies. You also do not need to spend a large portion of your day counting those calories either, who really has the time to do that? No, we are busy people, with work, families, children, and a host of better things we could be doing with our time.

If you know which weight loss foods you should be eating, you will never have to spend another dime on things like that again. All you will really have to do is go the grocery store just as you have been or visit your favorite restaurants. You did a double take there didn't you? Yes, you can still eat the right weight loss food and enjoy them at your favorite restaurant. Now that is a diet worth looking into if you ask me.

In a nutshell, at any one meal, don't combine proteins and carbohydrates/starches. You can eat vegetables with either proteins or carbohydrates. You should eat fruit alone without any other type of food.

The reason is the enzymes used to digest proteins and starches require opposite digestive pH levels to break them down. If you eat them at the same time, it slows digestion because it can only work on one or the other. Meanwhile, the other food sits and ferments waiting its turn to be digested. When food ferments, it gives off gases. This is what leads to the gas and bloating you feel after a poorly combined meal.

So this means, no sandwich with meat, no hamburger on a bun with fries, no cereal and milk, no peanut butter sandwiches, no meat and potatoes. But don't feel your life has ended.

Here are some great ideas for meal planning:

Breakfast
--Begin with a bowl of fruit or have this for a mid-morning snack.
--At least 30 minutes later, have a muffin or an egg & meat omelet

Lunch
--Have a salad with a roll or crackers or the salad with chicken added.

Dinner
--Meat, poultry or fish with a fresh vegetable and a salad
--Pasta, potatoes, or rice with a fresh vegetable and a salad.

Here are a few other fine points to food combining.

--Do not drink milk with meat, but other dairy items are okay.
--Beans are considered a starch/protein and don't combine well with meat, poultry or fish, but are okay with dairy products and vegetables.
--Try to eat only one protein in a meal. Eggs are an exception and can combine with other proteins.

In addition to the foods you eat, water taken with a squeeze of fresh lemon about 30 minutes before your meal can kick your digestive juices into gear.

However, do not drink large amounts of water right before you eat as this will dilute the digestive enzymes in your saliva and slow your digestion right from the start.

Also keep your water at or near room temperature. Extreme hot or cold water inhibits the gastric juices and shocks your system.

You will find when you adhere to these rules, not only will you drop a few pounds, but gas, bloating, diarrhea, and constipation will be greatly relieved. I encourage you to give this a try for just 2 - 3 days and see how you feel.
