As a women, I know how hard it is to put yourself first! Weight loss for women is absolute difficult no matter if you are a career woman or a stay at home mother. If you are like me, you find yourself rushing through the day, having surprise projects and last minute details thrown at you all day long. In fact, my biggest problem is snacking off my two-year olds plate. One minute you are a vibrant healthy woman and five years later you are staring an entirely different version of yourself in the mirror. Sometimes it is difficult even to recognize that image.

Does the above description sound like your life? You and I are kidding ourselves if we think we can juggle the gym three to five times a week on top of the rest of our busy lives. The majority of us cannot afford a full-time nanny so that is out of the question. Even a good babysitter is hard to come by these days. I know from experience that you have to be looking for a simple, well explained a quick way to get back in shape.

Now, healthy eating does not have to be scary either. First off, stop running through the drive through. Planning seven meals a week can become extremely stressful. But the key word here is planning. Shop for the week or two ahead of time. Have that meat thawing throughout the day. Take full advantage of the magic of a crock-pot to make fabulous meals for you. Stock your kitchen full of fresh fruit and veggies instead of prepackaged fatty foods. Really think about what you are putting into your body and how it is going to effect the rest of your day and the rest of your life.

Are you over it? I know I certainly was, way over it! Let me pass a little knowledge onto you that hopefully you can take to heart. Putting yourself first, exercising, improving your overall self and eating great are the top four ways to achieve weight loss for women. You absolutely must take yourself into consideration first and foremost if you want to shed those pounds. If you are not happy about yourself and your state then the rest of your family is going to suffer and that is a fact. Set time aside for the things you enjoy and stick to that. After all, you deserve it!

A Strong Desire for Self-Improvement. You have got to really want this to achieve it! Just thinking about weight loss for women is not going to get you there. You need to put yourself in a place in your life where you have had enough of the old ways and you are ready for the new way. It is easy to get sidetracked, especially with busy lives like ours. I was sick and tired of not fitting into my clothes, feeling utterly exhausted and just wasting away. So, I took action and nipped the problem at the bud because I desired it more than anything.

Fitness and Exercise Plan. Is 15 to 30 minutes a day too much to ask? In fact, you don't have to work out 7 days a week. I know for a fact you don't have time for that. Only women with nannies have time for that. And if your family is on a budget like mine then a nanny is out of the question. First, think about what kind of exercise you enjoy doing. I like walking, Pilates and swimming but it varies from mom to mom. Some people just want to hop on the treadmill during their soaps and others enjoy biking in the evening. It really doesn't matter what kind of exercise you do, just find some you like.

Educate Yourself. Go to http://www.weightlossformoms.net for a free report and more information on weight loss for women. Educate yourself a little on the subject. Chances are this is a battle that you have been waging for a while now. No one should go into battle unprepared.

Don't make your new goals unattainable because you will fail. Start out slow and make sure you are ready to stick to your self commitments. After the first week or two of eating right and working out you will develop a habit of it. And then eventually you will start feeling so great that it will just come naturally to you!

1. Rethink your diet.
It is time to stop dieting and cutting calories. Avoid quick fix fad diets. You usually end up gaining more weight when it is over than you weighed when you started. Your goal should be to get healthy. Work towards a lifetime goal of a healthy diet and lifestyle change.

2. Eat healthy life-giving foods.
Choose healthier organic produce, meats, eggs and milk products. Get plenty of proteins, to help you build muscle and burn fat.

3. Cut out the bad carbs and processed foods.
Avoid the bad carbs-- white sugar and white flour. Stay away from the processed foods as much as possible. It is the bad fats and oils, carbs, preservatives, MSG, and food dyes that keep many people overweight.

4. Try cooking with coconut oil.
Coconut oil is the best oil you can use in your diet. It actually promotes weight loss by burning as fuel for the body instead of storing as fat. It is a harmless saturated fat that has been proven not to cause heart disease, and actually helps fight cardiovascular disease. And you can use it for higher temperature cooking, unlike olive oil.

5. Exercise moderately-- but don't over do it.
People talk a lot about the need to add more exercise, but too much exercise can be almost as bad as too little. Listen to your body. Start slowly and increase your exercising gradually. Vary your exercise routines. Alternate weight training and aerobics exercises on different days.

6. When you still can't lose weight, get some help.
Sometime you just need a little extra help. There are proven herbs and supplements that can that can give you that extra edge you might need to cut your appetite, give your metabolism and energy levels a boost, and help you burn fat and build muscle.
