You Can Make Your Sales Copy Believable If You Know How To
by Jo Han Mok, Jo
But that doesn't necessary mean that they are all not true.

People are naturally skeptical nowadays.

Every one of us have been burned before and that makes us lose faith and confidence in believing someone we do not know personally or have never met.

So unless you can make what you wish to say believable to your prospect by building credibility, the response to sales copy would be lukewarm at best.

There are quite a few ways to build credibility to your sales copy and I will be sharing with you those that I have tested.

#1 Be Honest And Tell The Truth

You must be brutally honest in your sales copy and I am not saying, just being honest, you will have to appear honest without a doubt to your prospect.

If you attempt to deceive your prospect, it will come back to you and haunt you sooner or later.

You want to be on a long haul in the business so being totally honest helps in building credibility for you and your business in the long run.

#2 Admit Upfront If There Is A Flaw In Your Offer

By admitting something that is wrong with what you have to offer, you are accomplishing two things that will gain your prospect's trust.

Firstly, if there is really a flaw in your offer, your prospect will most likely discover it sooner or later. But when you point it out to them before they discover it themselves, imagine the amount of trust you have just earned.

Secondly, by admitting a flaw in your offer, it makes the rest of your sales copy much more believable since you just showed your prospect that you have the guts to admit and point out any problem, if there is, with your offer.

#3 Use Photos

Having real photographs of yourself, associates and customers prove that you are for real and not hiding behind some bogus name.

It also shows that you are confident and proud of what you have to offer. There is absolutely nothing that you fear that you need to hide.

It shows that you are very open and trustworthy.

#4 Use Testimonials

Include testimonials of customers to support what you have to say. Just because you said it doesn't mean it is true, but when others are saying it too, it gives you more credibility.

When you include a testimonial, always include the person's name and some form of contact for that person incase someone wish to verify if the testimonial was real.

#5 Provide Your Real Address And Contact Numbers

Having your real physical address and contact numbers in your sales copy proves that you are for real and make no attempt to hide.

When I say real address, I literally mean your address where you work out of, not a P.O. box.

Remember you want to build credibility and hiding behind a P.O. box doesn't help.
