[B782]Body Language To Attract Men
by Stacey Zimmerman, Sta
Having a girl of your dreams in your mind is one thing and the stage where you get to date that girl is a totally different story. Often people end up with their dream girl only in their dreams, and only a fraction of those who muster the courage to ask her for a date succeed in having a long-term relationship with her. The reason is simple - lack of proper body language!

One can't stress enough on the importance of body language in establishing and sustaining a long-term relationship with the girl of your choice. The failure on your part to display the proper body language at proper time, or failure on your part to understand the body language of your girl, both are the prime factors for failed relationships.

You may be saying one thing but your body language is sending a totally different message across. This situation can both be embarrassing as well as damaging. The idea is to bring both your vocal language and the body language in consonance with each other so that only the message that you want to convey is transmitted to your dream date. She should not be left confused after spending a couple of hours with you. Your intentions and your messages should be loud and clear, not only literally, but also on a metaphysical plane.

You must be aware of the maxim 'First impression is the last impression!' And most of the times, it is equally applicable in relationships as well. Your body language while approaching your dream girl for a date is your first impression, quite contrary to the popular belief, which says that it's how you ask her out for a date, is the first impression. Undoubtedly, the words you say carry a lot of weight, but if those words are accompanied with wrong body language, you'll surely lose your girl at this initial stage.

Humans interact more in the non-verbal zone than the verbal one. Several experts attest to this fact. And in our context, this simply means that relationships can't be simply built upon or sustained on a verbal level. You need to show the same level of commitment at the non-verbal level too in order to establish and make the relationship last.

You may be wondering what kind of body language are we talking about? You'll get a huge reservoir of tips on body language while approaching women on the Internet. But there is no point in digging for such information and waste your precious time. All you need to do is remember this thing. Whatever you say, say it with conviction and sincerity. It'll automatically show in your body language. Confidence and decisiveness in your mannerisms is all you need in terms of body language to attract your desired woman.

Another important, and often ignored, aspect about the body language in relationships is the ability (or inability) to understand the body language of the woman. While you are concentrating on your body language, do not forget to observe and understand the body language of your dream girl, which will easily tell you if she is really impressed by your mannerisms. Though it's not easy to understand a woman's body language (as the learned would say!) but a confident reply by her is normally an honest one on the very first meeting.

Body language what it means is very important in the dating scenario as we shall see in this article.

Let's look at various aspects of body language and how it can help you attract a date and give you clues to what they think of you.

1. Eye Contact

The first rule is to look someone in the eyes when taking to them

If you don't look someone in the eyes, this will be seen as you being not interested in who you are talking to or you are hiding something and will make your date nervous.

Watch how your date looks at you if they make eye contact sand hold it then there generally interested in you.

In addition, shifting eye movement or rapid changing of direction also indicates unease on both sides.

Holding eye contact does not mean staring it means looking in the eyes with interest and with a warm look. Gentle movement of the head and a smile also indicate someone being comfortable and at ease.

2. Smile

People like smiles so when you meet your date make sure it's a warm smile and that you show you are pleased to meet them.

You don't have to smile continuously throughout your date, but smiling regularly generally puts anyone at ease.

If you smile they will generally return your smiles ? If they don't there either nervous or are not at ease in your company.

3. Attention

Your date can tell what type of attitude you have to them by your by your attention span.

If you quickly lose focus or interest and your mind wanders when your date is talking this will indicate you are bored and disinterested and the same goes for them.

Even if you are nervous make sure you don't send out the wrong signals give your date your full attention

4. Nervous Disposition

Leads on from the above if you fidget and make jerky moves you will make your date feel uneasy. Some people can't help it but try and slow down and appear calm and relaxed to put your partner at ease.

5. Arms Folded & Legs Crossed

Arms folded is viewed as a defensive stance. Be open with open arms and don't fold them they are a communication tool as well and hand gestures can reinforce speech ? Always remember to keep your hands away from your mouth when speaking.

Leg crossing is seen as more defensive in men than in women. Quite simply many women wear skirts and this is something they are used to doing not to show something they shouldn't by accident.

6. Personal Space

In the dating game respect personal space most people don't like someone to close to them when they don't know them properly so keep a respectful distance.

There is nothing wrong with leaning slightly toward your date when they are speaking this shows interest and the same goes for them.
