Lovely Dream Skin--yes You Can Have It..
by Farhana Ayob, Far

Although there are many skin care products to choose from, if you fail to take proper care of your skin, the most expensive products in the world won't give you a radiant complexion. When it comes to glowing skin, what we put into our bodies and how we treat our skin and ourselves has a huge impact on how we look. No skin care product can overcome certain types of damage. Following are ten tips to take the best care of your skin and get that radiant glow.

Most products promise miracles and are but just lies and farfetched from what they actually could do.

Best is to go for a product that is more of a dermatologist recommended product

I would suggest a few but please not that you might require prescriptions for these:

Neostrata(Renewal Cream)--with pro retinol.

Neostrata(Complexion Gel)

Retin A(a topical vitamin A cream)

And always take Vitamin A, Vitamin B and E...

Eat a balanced diet - what we put in our bodies will show
on our skin. If you eat fatty foods and junk your skin will reflect that, so give your skin proper nutrition.

Get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night. A lack of sleep
will show up under your eyes as dark circles or bags. Proper rest will also benefit your body and your life.

Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day to keep your skin hydrated.
It is best to spread the consumption of water in small amounts over the course of the day to be sure it is properly absorbed.

Maintain a regular exercise schedule. Exercise gets the blood moving and creates a healthy body.

Get lots of fresh air but avoid prolonged exposure to wind and cold.

Avoid the sun and tanning beds. The damage done by ultraviolet rays is long lasting and cannot be reversed.

Always wear sunglasses to avoid squinting.

Try to achieve a well-balanced life and reduce stress.

Exfoliate twice a week to rid your skin of dead cells.

Develop a skin care routine for your particular skin type.
If you have been neglecting your complexion start right away to
improve it - it's never too late. What you do today will show up in
your skin in the future. It's all up to you.

Remember that Cleansing your skin thouroughly always is a must--Atleast once in the morning and never sleep w/o cleansing.

Try keeping your skin dry through the evening if you tend to have combination/oily skin, This avoids clogging of the pores and blackheads/pimples.- Use Caladryl lotion(an anti itch lotion) or Retin A cream.(Do not use Retin A if pregnant or planning to conceive.)

Always keep your hair clean,Dandruff can be the number one cause of your skin problems.

Remove eye make up properly, failure to do so may cause puffiness under eyes.

Use Hypo-allergenic Foundations such as vichy And Always keep your skin dry throughout the day using a good face powder(Try Clinique or Yardley Loose powder.

And lastly---DO NOT TOUCH...do not itch your face, or continuously have the habit of touching your skin all the time, you are spreading impurities.

Having Good skin is a great feeling and yes, Anyone can have it...

So be positive and GO GET IT!!!

Happy skin caring!....

Regards
