Faceted And Non-faceted Jewellery
by Paul Shane, Pau

The best way to see the sparkle of any jewellery is to see it in the eyes of the one who's wearing it. Jewellery not only makes us look beautiful, but they also make us feel beautiful from inside. A woman and jewellery are like one divine body complementing another divine body. Faceted or non-faceted, shimmering or matted, all kinds of jewellery can make a person look good and elegant. Different materials have ruled different times. From kings and queens to people in the lower ranks, all have worn jewellery from a time when civilisations did not exist.

are those which have beads, gems or stones cut and polished in a geometrically shaped flat surface. And non-faceted jewellery are where the gems or the stones do not have any particular geometrically shaped flat polished face, for instance cabochons.
