For years I have tried several different products to treat my acne so that I could have a clear skin. I have learned so much over the years that about acne and acne treatments. It is amazing how many people are suffering from this killer disease called acne; more than 80% off all American will have acne some time or another in their life.
Acne is a terrible skin disease which is as a result of over active sebaceous glands. These glands are under the skin and secrete an oily substance called sebum that protects the skin. The problem occurs however, when there is an excess of sebum being produced. This excess oil will clog the pores and trap bacteria and dirt. Your body's defense system will try and combat this process by sending out an army of white blood cells which will digest the bacteria. The digested bacteria and the dirt particles will become puss and will be transferred to the surface of the skin to be removed in the form of an acne pimple.
After trial and error I have found that going the natural route is the best clear skin treatment of choice. Creams and other drugs are made up of a variety of chemicals that can also harm your skin. On the other hand, though it is not 100% certain that everyone will have the same response to natural remedies, the possibilities of having terrible side effects are far less.
A natural clear skin treatment can be as simple as changing your diet. Diet plays an effective role In everyone's healing process, whether it is acne or even a heart disease. Your diet is the means by which nutrients are incorporated in the body, and nutrients provide the fuel for your immune system to work efficiently.
There are many other means of treating acne naturally, and the important thing is that you can see result very quickly and with very little chance of side effects. The choice is yours however, some people will always go for the creams and other drugs while some have no problem curing there acne naturally.
Below Are Some Helpful Natural Clear Skin Treatment Tips
Tip #1 -Wash your face at least twice per day with warm water. Be as gently as possible so that you do not irritate the pimples and make it any worse. At nights before you go to your bed place a warm towel on your face for at least 3 minutes followed by a cold towel for one minute. The contrast between hot and cold will detoxify and strengthens the immune system. This helps bring nutrients, oxygen and immune cells to damaged and stressed tissues and carries away metabolic waste, inflammatory by-products and other toxic substances.
Tip #2 Apply some Castor oil or a little olive oil to the affected areas after you have done the water technique. Allow the castor oil to stay on until the next morning you can rinse it off with some warm water. This will promote the clearing of the skin, however after application your skin might feel a little thick and tight but that is normal.
Tip #3 Stay off vegetable oils and other fatty foods. Even though there is no direct relation between food and acne, eating certain types of food can agitate it and prevents a speedy recovery. Eat a lot of vegetables and fruit. These provide the necessary nutrients to build your immune system.
Tip #4 Take A Multivitamin Daily- Vitamins and minerals are very essential in the curing of acne. Aside from curing acne most vitamins also prevents the possibility of scarring.
Tip #5 Change your bedding and pillow case Daily- If you can't change it daily, try to change it every other day. You see whenever you sleep you sweat sometimes, and sometimes you shed dead skin cells. These are sometimes very small to be seen with the naked eye. You don't want to be putting your body on the same dirty area everyday as this will lead to dirt going back into the pores which will lead to clogging.
