Brow lifts can remove years from your face, doing away with perpetual scowls, an angry appearance or simply a tired, haggard look. Expectations
Although a brow lift can go far toward improving problems, it is limited in the scope of what can be alleviated. Sometimes one incision method improves wrinkles in the forehead and between the eyes better than another, and that method may be what Dr. Barber advises because of other more relevant benefits or because of the way your hairline grows.
You should also not expect a brow lift to accomplish what eyelid surgery () does. While a brow lift may lift the eyelid upward somewhat as a result of raising the forehead skin, blepharoplasty specifically addresses the skin of the eyelid. Combinations and Phases
Once you've outlined all your expectations, you may wish to discuss with Dr. Barber the possibility of combining procedures or having them done in phases. Depending upon your time restraints, and what your doctor advises, you may elect to have a brow lift procedure along with an eyelid lift.
